"My family and I have stayed at the Acorn numerous times. The staff is as helpful as they can be, the rooms are clean, the amenities in the room are all we need.
A small family run motel, no elevator but free laundry which is terrific so you can travel with just a carry-on.
My room had a wee kitchenette - I was reheating for the most part so it was perfect.
Breakfast - basic; toast, bagels, cereal, juices, apples and coffee - that's what a continental is!!
A solid 3 star property out of 5 - loses one because of the lack of an elevator.
Suited my purpose well and I usually stay for about 5 nights."
