"The temperature in the room at night. We liked it about 3 degrees cooler, but couldn't get the thermostat to go down. Called the front desk, they said it would take 20 minutes or so. We tried 3 more times, never came down and don't think it was meant too. We stayed with our Shi-zu (dog), probably the 30th or so hotel with the dog, never a problem. Apparently there was a complaint of the dog barking. The hotel staff put us in a high traffic room, next to the door to go outside and close to the elevator. Dog must have heard the commotion in the hallway and barked. Recommend people with dogs be put in a low traffic area, like at the end of the hall."

"Room was clean. Nice coffee and cocoa available. Breakfast was standard. Good selection of items. Adequate seating. They ran out of sausage. Check in was a wait when there was two registers and three people chatting. When it was my turn, it was fast and efficient. I would recommend you stay here."

"Such a cute renovation and close to town, walkable to many places and campus of App State. The restaurant attached was very good! Only complaint was we were out in a room and the balcony overlooked the roof, seemed to be plenty of other rooms with a better view. Not a huge deal and would definitely stay here again."

"Very nice, spacious room and bathroom. Close to town, could walk over to it. Loved the varied shops. Only slight negative, the water in the shower cycled from hot to cold which made for a quick shower! Easy in and out parking and a lovely sitting area outside."
