Receptionist was extremely engaged and helpful. She really welcomed us to the hotel and gave us lots of useful advice. Hotel had a nice buzz about it, calm yet efficient. All staff were great 👍.

Great last minute booking

Booked last minute for elderly parents. They only had twin rooms left but it was great for my parents. It was ground floor. They tell me the breakfast was very well stocked and very reasonably priced at £10pp when checking in. Great that breakfast time was until 10:30 on Sunday so they could get organised and have a lie in. They enjoyed the bar in the evening, chatting to people and watching the football. Very Happy

An excellent break

The hotel was lovely. Both my requests for a quiet room and a bath were met on my arrival. The staff were warm, friendly and efficient. I used the spa and found the treatments and team excellent. My additional request was accommodated. I ate with a friend in both the restaurant and bar in an evening both the food and service were really good.

Excellent service

My wife book me this hotel during my daughter have event at RAF, absolutely brilliant choice, very comfortable room with good spacious everywhere. Staff are very welcome and friendly. I had a very good time & will definitely use this hotel again as well as recommend this hotel to all my family and friends too.

Bedroom big, clean and comfortable. Large bed. Small but powerful shower. Breakfast was ok. Good bacon and eggs but the rest was not as good. Options for people though. I wouldn't really call it a spa but the sauna and steam room were fine along with the pool if not busy. The gym was a little dated but had plenty to have a good workout. All was included at no extra cost unlike some places which was good. Didnt have an evening meal or attend the bar area but it seemed busy enough.

Check in went ok, informative but nothing personal. Room was a dissapointment - old tissues left by the bed, hair bobbles on desk & cobwebs and spiders in cornere of bathroom. Right hand side lamps by bed didnt work & switch seemed melted somehow - not great when you have a 3yr old. Food in bar nice but was full & only one member of staff on duty. Pool nice. Breakfast could have been better with items being topped up before they ran out (15min wait for any fried eggs). Check out incredibly impersonal - no ask of how stay was or any sort of small talk (i was only one checking out so wasnt as if she was rushed off her feet) just took room number, said bill was settled & a swift goodbye before she headed back in back office.

The room was dreadful, velum windows were dangerous and faulty. Single beds were very uncomfortable and the overall state of the room was very poor. In desperate need of redecoration and upgrade. Bathroom wasn’t very clean either.

This property is looking tired and is in need of modernisation, the bed was saggy and uncomfortable, you have to pay a pound to use towels in the spa, the food was limited for an evening meal but breakfast was good. Staff were friendly but lacked training to resolve issues like lack of gas for the bar drinks, and check out was slow.

Overall nice hotel. Slightly dated in areas , but improvements look to be in progress. Our room floor was slightly uneven. Food nice, pool area clean . Staff service good. Bathroom was very modern and clean

Very nice hotel

Really nice hotel. Some aspects are a bit dated but all very clean. Staff and service was excellent. Pool area was very nice and clean. Restaurant was very good, and food was lovely. Room and bed were very comfortable, but a bit hot with no ventilation. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Excellent stay

Stayed here for two nights whilst down for work as couldn’t get closer to Lincoln. Hotel is lovely, friendly staff, pool and sauna was an excellent bonus. Room was okay, does need a bit of a refresher but for the price I paid, I was more than happy with everything. Food in the bar was excellent. Can’t really have any complaints.

Good in parts

Excellent room with a good view. You could smell chlorine on the way because of the pool below, but it was OK once you were in the room. A few tatty edges( cracked wash basin) but adequate standard. Dinner was good in parts and acceptable overall. Great service in the restaurant. But reception staff really need to smile more!
