"Very welcoming host, the room had an amazing veiw. Very clean, good variety of tea, coffee and a hot chocolate. The bottle of water in the fridge was a godsend when I got back after a long day. Breakfast was very tasty, full english with a glass of fruit juice and a pot of tea( or coffee). It was so helpful being able to drop my bag off before check in... Which when I arrived I was able to check in early. Also I could leave my bag there when I checked out, meaning I didn't have to lug it around with me all day till going for my train. Highly recommended and will definitely stay again. 😊"

"Good hotel if you like fade charm. The Group were on 2nd 3rd floor these were ok esp 2nd floor. Rooms below entrance (downstairs) were not so good per part of group that were here last year. On each floor spectacular lounge areas to meet up. Outside over looking sea also very good. Some one in group had been to Waldorf Astoria NY some years ago as part of cruise deal. They rated this hotel better for room 2nd F & open area spaces If this was in London & had some more improvements it would cost serious money."

"This hotel is not the easiest to find by car but is well worth the effort. You can buy a local parking permit from them at a discount rate of £5 per night. Our room (214) was huge, with a wonderful sea view. The bed was so comfortable, and the bed linen was spotless and excellent quality. There was a coffee pod machine and tea making facilities, with free bottled water and fresh milk in the fridge. The buffet breakfast was lovely and all the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We didn’t eat there in the evening as we went to a local event, but the menu looked amazing. I can’t recommend The Bike & Boot highly enough and we would definitely stay there again."

"Top floor walls paper thin every conversation and toilet visit audible especially after a wedding party finishing at 00.30, other guests not caring. Shower cubicle tiles broken sealant black and soaps not new. bottles half refilled. Dust everywhere carpet dirty poor quality coffee in rooms. No one around at check out to advise of issues"
