2. When the bathroom door was closed a large part of the marble side wall of the bath collapsed.
Just not what one would expect at this price point. No hair dryer in the room and no milk for coffee. Price was €1,200 for the room for the night so you would expect more "

"I recently stayed at the hotel while attending a Forbes event and was surprised by the early start of maintenance work on the ocean-facing terrace. Beginning at 7:00 a.m., there was noticeable drilling and worker activity directly outside the balcony.
Given that the hotel was fully occupied by Forbes attendees, it is unclear why such disruptive work needed to begin so early. The noise significantly impacted the guest experience, and I understand that several other guests shared similar concerns.
This may be an area worth reviewing to better align operational activities with guest expectations, particularly during high-profile events."

"Great location - close to town, restaurants and the bus. Decor is eclectic but cool, with lots of indoor games for snowy days, and the bon bons in the lobby saved me while standing in line for different attractions! The bed was comfortable, and the view from our balcony was spectacular. Our only issue was that the bathroom was really small. I highly recommend the buffet breakfast - it’s the best deal in town and what a view!"

"It's a very nice hotel with beautiful view over lake Annecy. The server at breakfast was delightful. The only thing that marred my visit was the attitude of the server Easter evening. I had had a big meal midday with friends and I wanted just a salad. I ordered a 15 euro mocktail and a salad and the server was clearly irritated and pushed me to order wine. I'm bilingual and visit France frequently and I'm pretty stunned that this attitude persists. It's very unwelcome behavior. Il avait pas mal de caractère."
