"I am so glad I booked J Resort. I chose it because of the reviews, cost, and wanting to see the Burning Man art lit up at night. The property is under a major renovation, so I gave the property rating 4 stars for this reason. I didn’t see outside signage to direct me to the Casino entrance for hotel registration, so my driver did circle a few times. The hotel inside was clean, updated and had good signage inside. Registration was a breeze with absolutely no wait and 2 helpful staff members waiting at the desk. I stayed in the Aspen tower and my room was immaculate with all room amenities in perfect condition. Heat adjusted quickly, in room coffee, there was a hard copy of TV channels and a guide button on remote to see the schedule. I was able to go out at night to see some of the art. I think that I may have missed some - perhaps a paper form at the desk to show the street layout and where pieces are would be of benefit. As a woman out alone I didn’t want to have my eyes attached to my phone and I didn’t want to search all the streets with mixed lighting. I was pleasantly surprised that the resort did include airport shuttle (available seasonally I believe). The real MVP was a man named Jessie who was at the Bell desk the night I checked in to answer my questions (one question he needed to follow up with me about and did so quickly by phone as promised). He also was the morning driver for the airport and was a complete delight. I will definitely stay here again!"

"The worst parts of this property was the parking lot issues and they staff's attention to the issue. The parking "cards" seldom worked and, although they were "re-scanned" by staff 5 times during our 2 day stay, it was a true "hit-and-miss adventure. Staff was very aggressive with her attitude towards my wife the first time she went to complain."
