Top Great Karoo Hotel Reviews

Old Mill Lodge, Working Ostrich Farm & Restaurant, Oudtshoorn

10/10 Excellent

"Stop over at Old Mill Lodge as part of a Route62 road trip was well worth it we loved staying in the Cottage on the water staff very friendly and food overall very good"

Keurfontein Country House

8/10 Good

"Beautiful setting between two mountains with ponds, a dam, well kept gardens and magnificent views. It is a convenient spot to stop between Gauteng and George / The Garden Route / Southern Cape. The beds are super comfy. We always stay here because its so easy to chill and relax after a long drive, and easy to get back on to the N9 when leaving the next day."

DE BERGKANT

10/10 Excellent

"We had a fantastic stay at De Bergkant in late July. The setting and surrounding view was stunning. We were greeted by Tracey who was manager and head chef. She could not have been more helpful. She provided recommendations on things to do in Prince Albert and places to eat, even made our dinner reservations for us. The rooms and the grounds were clean and comfortable. One of the highlights of our stay was breakfast. Tracey prepared a varied 5 course breakfast each morning that could only be described as incredible. Most ingredients were locally sourced and everything was absolutely delicious. Prince Albert itself had a lot to offer and was well worth the trip. To anyone planning a trip to the area I highly recommend including a stay at De Bergkant."

Buffelsdrift Game Lodge

10/10 Excellent

"Buffelsdrift is an absolute gem. We loved every moment of our stay and wish we could have enjoyed it for a bit longer. The 5 star service - from reception, restaurant (food and service), turn down service and check out - was excellent. We will be making another reservation very soon! Thank you!!"
