"We really enjoyed our stay at the M Hotel in Buffalo. Its location was perfect—close to both restaurants and the mall—so it was easy to keep the kids entertained between family visits. The pool was excellent, and having access to a laundry room was a huge plus (with no wait, which was surprising).
Even though the hotel was busy with kids in town for local tournaments, it never felt loud or chaotic. The kids were well-behaved, which made for a relaxed and comfortable stay overall."
"If you’re booked on the first floor near the lobby and looking for a good night sleep don’t have high expectations. We were awoken at all hours of the night by loud noises coming from the lobby and hallway. This was from 11pm until about 5am. We went to sleep at 10pm as we had an early flight. I ended up putting a white noise sound on my phone to try and drown out the noise but even that didn’t help.
The AC also would not stay on even though we pushed the button that keeps fan on. It wouldn’t. So we were constantly going from being at a nice temp to sweating.
And the lobby smelled terrible! I’m assuming it was cleaning products even though it was no cleaning product I’ve ever smelled. Thankfully the room didn’t smell like that so I’m unsure but whatever it was was strong and offensive.
The room itself looked nice. Couch was a bit dirty but nothing terrible.
Breakfast was decent with many options including fresh waffles which is always a bonus for my kids.
The best part of the room/hotel was the shower. Never in my life have a had a shower at a hotel that had good pressure. This was excellent.
Unfortunately the crappy sleep tore all the good things down so we likely wouldn’t stay here again.
Has potential.
Seriously though, keep the banging and clanging to a minimum at night.
You should have your staff sleep in a near lobby room one night to hear what your guests hear."
"After a full day of traveling and physically exhausted, we arrived at the hotel around 9pm to check in and was surprised to learn they were overbooked and my room wasn't available (booked 3 weeks ago) and was directed to their sister property "Buffalo Airport Hotel" located around the block next to a Wingnutz and Speedway gas station. This hotel appeared much more outdated and the lobby smelled of food coming from the restaurant. The room offered was also outdated and dark due to the lack of adequate lighting. Housekeeping could have done a better job prepping the room, there was hair on the bathroom floor and a long string of hair about a foot long left in the tub. "
"The hotel was beautiful. It just needs a little updating and the room need a microwave. I love the charm the old ancient castle vibes, but inside the hotel need some renovation but other than that, I loved it."
"Went for an overnight getaway. Nice hotel. Comfortable beds. Bathroom was not very clean. Within walking distance of several restaurants , shops and bakery / coffee shops. I think we were expecting a little more based on the location and the outside of the building. Breakfast looked good but the countertops were very dirty with spilled drinks, crumbs, etc. Probably won’t stay here again."
"Our room was not the cleanest as the couch had stains and the cushion cover was coming off. Several surfaces throughout the hotel needed cleaning. The breakfast was okay. "
