"Staying at Malmaison Oxford felt like doing time… The room was spacious, spotless, the bed was actually comfortable (shocking for a former prison), turning on the lights gives you that prison sound and the location is dangerously convenient for wandering Oxford. Add in the juicy history of the building and suddenly your overnight stay comes with a side of true crime vibes. Clean, central, and delightfully dramatic — 10/10 would get “locked up” again."

"Great stay as always! We have stayed here many times over the last 9 years and we keep coming back. It’s a lovely hotel, nicely furnished rooms, always spotlessly clean with very comfortable beds. Friendly staff and a delicious breakfast too. It’s so close to Stratford that you can just park the car up and literally cross the road and you’re at the river, theatre, shops, pubs, restaurants and museums. We would highly recommend a stay at the Swans Nest Hotel 😊"
