"I was on the fence to book after looking at some recent reviews of noise, smells, and rooms falling apart. We booked and honestly we loved it. The staff was great from the moment we walked in. We were on the 20th floor, ocean front, it was peaceful -I could see how the rooms facing the pool area could be a little louder though. As for the smell of weed, I never smelled it in the hotel, but it was every where outside as we walked to different locations. Our room"

"Staff was excellent. Food was about 3/5 in my opinion. Beach was covered in seaweed but it’s that time of season. Lots of beach chairs available at the pool. Swim up bar was a little slow on speed only because they had one bartender. Not much food options past 11 if you were to get hungry you have to order room service for $10 charge."

"El hotel está muy bello, pero unieron varias cosas que me desencantaron. Primero la comida: Señores vivimos en una isla que lo tiene todo! No es posible que un buffet sea tan limitado, me hubiese gustado ver más variedad…otra cosa, alquile una balinesa y duraron 1 hora para llevarme lo que incluía, tuve que terminar exigiendo un reembolso porque había explicado que ya me iba ese día y aún así duraron todo ese rato sin darme una explicación y al final fue que estaban descargando las champagnes…y lo 3ro es que se fue la energía eléctrica varias veces durante la noche,duraba minutos para regresar pero de todos modos fueron varias veces y hubieron personas que se quedaron varadas en los ascensores, cosa que creo que es muy peligrosa. Por favor mejores esos detalles porque tienen mucho potencial."

"We stayed in a Family Swim-Out Room with our infant and preschooler and had a wonderful holiday overall. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the swim-out pool was the highlight, used every day by our family. The resort is large, well maintained and the food was excellent. We especially enjoyed the main buffet, Reef Buffet for Jamaican dishes and the Italian restaurant. The smoothie bar was a daily favourite, and the 24-hour café was perfect for quick snacks and sandwiches for the children. Housekeeping was the main area needing improvement. Despite tipping daily, we often had to request basic toiletries such as shampoo and body wash. Our room service indicator light was also broken throughout our stay despite being reported. The beach has lovely soft sand, but the water is quite rocky, so water shoes are highly recommended for adults and children. The waterpark was great fun for our kids, although some areas are better suited to older children. The Kids Club staff were friendly and caring, though the activities felt a little limited compared with other family resorts. The resort is quite isolated, and essentials in the gift shop are expensive, so plan ahead if travelling with young children. Overall, the excellent food, swim-out room, family-friendly facilities and friendly staff made for a very enjoyable stay. We would happily return and recommend it to other families."
