We loved this Hotel but be aware you will need transportation , Oia Village is 20 min away . You will be in Imerovigli, we rented it at ATV (70 euros for 24 hrs 500 cc and it was perfect . We had a room with the jet tub and it was perfect because the water is “refreshing “ this time of the year ..: this is how Greeks called it . Overall Amber light was good , breakfast not so good .

The service was topnotch and the facilities was awesome! Hara at the reception was very helpful from the moment we arrived as she outlined the must-see spots. Our room was spacious and immaculate with the view of the morning sunrise to start each day of our stay there. Luisa was a huge reason for our room to remain fresh and inviting everyday. Thanks a lot ladies for making our stay worth remembering 😊👍

Amber Light Villas was the second hotel we stayed at ion Santorini. In fact we booked it and arrived 30 minutes after. We were warmly welcomed and offered help with transportation, recommendations, and more! The Amber Light Villas were absolutely stunning. When you arrive there you immediately feel like you are in a luxury resort. The staff is incredibly kind, the rooms are clean, and the public areas are all pristine. I highly recommend Amber Light Villas!!

This small resort is on a quiet road about 2 miles from the airport. The resort is very well maintained, has an excellent staff, the views of the ocean and sunrise are absolutely stunning, and our room was outstanding. Jon, Chris and Lola made our stay at their resort a special experience. Thank you!

We loved the property and staff alike. Very friendly and helpful in every situation. Great food and beautiful dining area overlooking the ocean. We had an upgraded room with a pool which we loved. Although looking directly out of our pool was an abandoned old rusty car. I assume from the neighbors property. It was a bit from the local scene but we ended up liking that after the crowds of town. Overall very thankful.

This is a beautiful hotel. Staff are very kind and polite. One of the cleanest hotels I have ever been. Breakfast is fantastic. The only downside is the location. If you like to be somewhere away from the crowd and isolated you will love this hotel. It is an hour uphill walk to happening places or at least 40 Euro cab ride each time you come and go.

Yea maybe we are spoiled but….
Oh where to start I suppose the one compliment I can leave is the ladies at the front desk were very nice and from there it’s all down hill. The room was clean but if u like to sweat all night then this is the place for you bc the air did not work. You love having a pool in your room? Cool that works if it’s hot enough for the sun to heat the pool or if u like cold plunges bc pool wasn’t heated and was too damn cold for us to enjoy. Called a few different place to get food delivered yea that’s not happening as no one delivers to this place in the middle of nowhere. I would set a plot for a murder movie here though. 😀

Beautiful, relaxing and quiet hotel! The hotel staff are all very nice, polite, accommodating, informative, and responsive. The location is a bit remote and away from the rest of the touristy areas, but it can be a plus for those who are looking to get away from the crowd and relax. Taxis were available and the hotel can set it all up for you. The nearest bus station is a little of a hike/walk from the hotel. There is a trail that we hiked/walked on to get to the main street of Imerovigli and connects to the popular trail that goes from Oia to Fira. Breakfast is included. It is a buffet style, and has a wide variety of breakfast foods, all of which were delicious. There is one restaurant on site, which has standard foods. The bar is also on site. Our room was nice and spacious, and had a beautiful view. The AC worked great, our pool was cleaned every morning, and overall was relaxing. Our outdoor space was relatively private. We can still see part of the two neighboring pools. We also had a family staying above us, and unfortunately had children who were doing cannon balls into their pool causing big splashes down on us.. We enjoyed our stay here, and would recommend to those who want to have a quieter atmosphere.

Loved our stay. Quiet and quant area on the outskirts of oia and thira. Hotel service always set up transportation for us with driver whenever and where ever we wanted. All staff extremely nice and caring and super accomodating. Already recommended many people to stay. We loved it as part of our honeymoon. Great staff

1.For shower water was not hot enough, just a bit warm. 2. Showered water not draining so our feet were in dirty soapy water during and after shower and was not even fixed in 3 days. 3. And the worst was, AC not working for all 3 nights of our stay, so we had to sleep with open windows, so outside lights, mosquitoes and airplane noises in the morning. My kids were miserable too at night. After sharing our concerns, receptionist said, it’s not a big deal, it will not bother her if she was to be in the same situation. And manager was also not responsive and was not professional at all. We were not compensated for the 3 nights stay of €1650. Overall we felt swindled and disappointed.

The lady at the reception kept the whole group (13 people, 6 rooms) at the small room to do the check in for all the rooms and then give us some information..it took about an hour and when some of us who were tired after the long trip went to our rooms to use the washroom, she was mad at us! She took the whole group on a tour to see each other’s rooms that was totally unnecessary! We asked to change one of the rooms because of the many stairs and she offered us to pay and receive an upgrade, but when we told her that being a gold member at hotels.com means an upgrade upon availability, she said the room is not available!!

Amazing views from property, very friendly, professional and attentive staff. Lola and Maria were very exceptional in making us feel comfortable, answering all our questions and giving us recommendations on things to do and consider in Santorini. The bar, restaurant and housekeeping staff were all very polite, respectful and very helpful (sorry if I couldn’t remember all the names but in short the entire staff was amazing). Rooms were kept spotless and villas were very quite and peaceful. Will certainly stay at Amber Light in near future. My only issue is that I wish they had more Movie and sports channels to choose from. Besides this it was perfect.

Beautiful Quiet Hotel
Our stay was amazing! The hotel is in a quiet peaceful area of Imerovigli. It did take a minute to get use to driving uphill. We had a beautiful sunrise view. The breakfast and lunch we had there was delicious, way better than the expensive restaurants. We would stay here again when visiting Santorini.

The resort offered great Sunrise views from where it is located just over half way up from the hill/mount where its located. Ultra peaceful and they have mostly everything you need on-premises. Anything you need in terms of transportation and day excursions are organised fast and will great recommendations from the reception staff. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to anyone wanting quiet time but close enough to nearby towns as well.
