Amazing experience. From the moment you walk in they will cater above and beyond your needs. What makes this place special compared to the usual places that Santorini has to offer is its exclusive view of the sunset. Breakfast was also amazing as there were lots of options as well as great food. 11/10 would recommend and come again.

We enjoyed our stay at Canaves Oia Epitome. The location is excellent - close to Oia, but down the hill, so it feels private. The staff was aware that it was our 25th anniversary, so they placed rose petals, chocolates, and wine in our room upon arrival. While this detail was wonderful, the resort did feel a little too big and it was a bit impersonal. We had made a dinner reservation with guest services in advance to celebrate, and they had no idea. The breakfast was nice. The private pools are great. We didn't have the best view (blocked by a long stone wall), but we could certainly relax and enjoy the sunset. They even turned up the pool temperature for us. We did have an issue a time or two (in the beginning) with the shuttle. We were told a shuttle would be there to pick us up in 5 minutes and 20 minutes later, we opted to walk back to the resort. Overall, that was a nice amenity, though.

If I could give more than 5-stars, I would. The service here is top-notch and really elevated the overall experience. The 24-hour complimentary shuttle service, being able to chat with staff via text at any time, the recommendations they offered for restaurants and nearby activities, the food, the ability to request our private pool be warmed, the gym, etc. Also, our room itself was beautiful. We stayed in the Hideaway Pool Suite and it felt like it was just my husband and I tucked away on our own little cliff-side room in Santorini with the most romantic sunset views. It was perfect.

Greatest hotel in Oia! Christina welcomed us and offered cold drinks while we checked in. The gave us a tour of their property..... stunning!! Then upgraded us to our own honeymoon villa!!!!! Love them all!!!!!! Incredible!!!!!!!

This was our first time in Santorini and we loved every minute of being there. Our stay at Canaves Oia Epitome was the icing on the cake! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this property. This is a fantastic hotel and couldn’t recommend it enough! Every single staff member is kind beyond words. They were always one step ahead of us and made our stay in Santorini unforgettable. If it weren’t for them, but and the beautiful resort, our trip wouldn’t have been the same. The honeymoon suite is perfect for 2 people and the photos do not do it justice. The location was preferable to inside of Oia for us. We will cherish the memories and definitely be back one day!

The epitome of bliss
How to describe such bliss? We stayed in the honeymoon suite and enjoyed not one but two floors of impeccable design and splendor. The staff went out of their way to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. Worth the expense and would return any day. The pool, the views, the relaxed atmosphere were beyond expectation.

This place blew me away! It is modern, clean, spacious and has great customer service. They upgraded us to a 2 bedroom Villa and Wow! Just wow! Literally everything WOW! 5 star in room dinning and 5 star breakfast. Huge pool in your room. Don’t get me wrong you PAY for it, but is worth every penny. If you’re looking for an upscale luxury, blew you away stay with an amazing sunset view. Pick here!

Summer break
Due to Covid we were transfered to the sister Canaves Oia Suites, where we received a room upgrade. The changed had been previously informed. We stayed in swimming pool suite, just opened. The room was fantastic, beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The staff in the hotel (reception, support team and spa), as well as the waiters and bar staff was super friendly, polite and helpful. The hotel is very well situated in the pretty village of Oia and offer stunning views. We would definitely return and can recommend it.

This is the best property in Oia for sunset views. All of the sunset cruises come to this spot each evening. You are about 5 minutes from town so you also do not have to deal with the crowds so it feels more private. They have a free shuttle to town and we used it multiple times per day and we loved the driver, George. Breakfast is included and was great everyday. I cannot say enough good things about this property. We were upgraded to a private pool villa and I highly recommend that!
