Great hotel
On the mountain/street side there is a bar right opposite which is a bit noisy at night. Otherwise great hotel with good facilities including parking and a pool

Friendly staff, good location, and the pool was nice. But the lobby area is lacking warmth. It's totally dark at night with no lights! This is an easy fix with lamps, plants, candles, books, etc. A gathering space in this hotel would have dramatically changed our experience.

The room was particularly clean and neat. We arrived late in the evening and the receptionist was waiting for us. They are taking all the necessary protocols for protection and cleanliness during these difficult times. The view from my room was spectacular. The restaurants in the area were superb. I would definitely stay again.

You will enjoy the best view available in Kalymnos. The beach is very nice but a bit pricey for beach chairs.

It’s a bed Jim ~ but not as we know it !?
We were upgraded to sea view which considering that we are three Gold Members travelling together in a near empty hotel this was only a correct application of common sense -not Rocket Science! However I did to expect to sleep on a sofa bed. Under the auspices of the Xenia offered by the Greek Government’s Blue Freedom Program we all three had J&J COVID-19 jabs. However a bed by any other name was not ideal for recuperation as I reserved the two very comfortable beds for my wife who is recovering from a recent fracture and my daughter Lydia who is looking after her.
It’s a bed Jim ~ but not as we know it !?

Dear Guest, you have been upgraded to a sea view room while you have booked and paid for a city view room. If the hotel was full or empty, i believe that it is very easy for you to understand that has nothing to do with what type of room you have paid for. We upgraded you because you were one of our first guests of the season. As soon as your daughter asked about a room with three beds and not a sofa bed, we explained to her which of our rooms have three beds and she did not accept to change rooms. You slept in the lobby of the hotel because your drunk daughter caused many problems and you were asked to leave the hotel the next day. When you explained to us that you have been vaccinated that day, we gave you an extra free day in order to feel better and be able to pack your things. .

This hotel was running on a wing and a prayer for the first seven days. Minimal attention to COVID-19 rules,masks and Plexiglass shields. The cleaning of common areas like elevator doors

The sea and the view was wonderful. The breakfast was great. The location was perfect. The staff at the reception and at the restaurants were very helpful. We can not say any negative comment for this hotel. We suggest strongly to everybody.

Kalymnos is one of our favorite islands
Always enjoy staying here! Brought family with us and gave them the sea view which they loved. The staff was great and the area has wonderful restaurants and two great bars.

Plaza hotel is very nice, has rooms with sea views, clean pool and beach access. Lost points due to overly-hard mattresses and a light fixture that burnt through our phone charger. This location is a bit tricky to get to (ferry from Kos + taxi) but worth it because of the view, few tourists, and quiet authentic community. There are plenty of restaurant choices and small family-run shops. Rock climbing and mopeding are popular here for the tourists. Beach was clean, palapas were serviced, water was gorgeous. Plan to buy a nice Greek cotton beach towel upon arrival (18-24 EU). Do not drink tap water and do not expect taxi drivers in Greece to speak English!

The staff were really nice and helpful.The hotel was clean and comfortable and quite peaceful. Pool area was nice. Good breakfast and good fresh coffee and simple but good quality food.The only thing I didn't like was their pillows weren't soft enough.The pool food wasn't good .Do better yo eat in other places around.

Great location
Had a lovely week here. The hotel was in a good situation right on here be beach but also had a great pool and lots of sun beds. Breakfast was ok if you stuck to bread, yoghurt fruit and cheese. The pool get very crowded one afternoon with local school kids. Would happily stay again.

The facilities here are very good. The bathrooms are spacious with a proper large shower, unlike much of the accommodation in Massouri. We enjoy the Greek buffet breakfast which caters for several nationalities' tastes. The rooms are large enough. The cleaning lady for floor 2 is wonderful. She has been there for years. She works so hard and so quickly and she deserves a pay rise. The view from the bedroom facing the sea is outstanding. Overall, a good basic hotel.

Great hotel in central Massouri close to all the restaurants, shops, beach and climbing. Staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was basic but nice.

First customers for the season, no hot water for two days. Beds are very uncomfortable. Our springs were poking us in the back all night. Good breakfast.

Room with a view
I have stayed here before, but I forgot how I love this place. Most of the rooms have breathtaking views of the sea and Telendos island. The pool is fantastic so is the beach. Breakfast is very good. There's a number of very good seafood restaurants around and cheap good gyros shop. The restaurants are good priced too. The room is a regular 3* hotel size with cramped bathroom and specious balcony. I guess this is probably the best place to stay in Kalymnos.

Beautiful place to stay. You right by the sea overlooking sea and stunning island from your spacious furnished balcony. Pool is great, so it's breakfast. Room was comfortable, perhaps only bathroom was a little small

Hotel offers amazing views. The room is comfortable enough, perhaps only bathroom was a little small. The Pool is amazing, so it's the beach. Breakfast was great. Hotel is located in the heart of Masouri and it's surrounded by lovely restaurants, bars and there's a few supermarkets.

Not for families.
It was ok. We had plumbing issues in the bathroom with a horrid stench and the staff wasn't very accommodating. We were booked for 9 days non refundable and wish we hadn't so I could change hotels. I had to beg them to change rooms. The cleaning staff did their best to mask the smell but to no avail. I was traveling with my husband and 2 young kids. The room size was fine, the views were great but I don't recommend the area for families with young kids since walking with scooters and cars flying past you is a challenge in and of itself.

The room was sparse but clean. The mattresses were a bit thin with a hard plank for the bed. Kalymnos is rather rustic and this is apparently one of the best hotels. Great view and decent breakfast.
