"We had a fantastic stay at SanSal Chania. The staff were super friendly, welcoming and really helpful. We had some lovely meals out thanks to their recommendations. Our room was immaculate and we had bottled water in our fridge daily. Great coffee pods were supplied for our in- room machine. The room came with a hairdryer and an ironing board. Our bathroom was spacious and came with really nice, locally sourced complimentary shower gels, soap and moisturisers. The bed was spacious, very comfortable and the only time we heard noise from outside was on one morning as there was construction locally. We even received an evening turn down service which we were not expecting and this was lovely to come back to after a day of exploring- fresh towels were supplied if necessary and the room had received a general tidy up. This hotel is 10 minute walk (if that) into Old Town Chania. There is plenty of parking available if you hire a car. We received a free bottle of wine with our stay which was great as we actually stayed over my birthday. The infinity pool on the roof was 10/10, providing great views. The pool was very clean and we did not have difficulty finding a lounger. The bar on the rooftop was also great with reasonably priced cocktails and great food. Breakfast was also delightful- some of the best scrambled eggs I’ve had abroad and the selection of local foods on offer at the buffet was fantastic. Overall I could not fault this hotel and would 100% stay again. Thank you!!"

"The Venetian history of the building is incredible. The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. Location is perfect for exploring Chania. The advice of our host for things to do and see never missed the mark. The only negative was car parking. You can’t drive in old town and there is limited parking nearby. Be prepared to walk to and from your car. "

"Excellent experience overall- comfortable bed, great location on the pier, tons of shopping and food nearby. Only hiccup was we didn't realize that we can't drive up to the hotel to drop off our belongings (you have to park in the public lot or a private lot about 100-300 meters away). It's a short, pleasant walk but the first night when finding our way the GPS kept took us in circles trying to find the hotel so that was a little tiring. "
