"View from the room was phenomenal! The room was clean, and well equipped. Perfect for a romantic getaway. Easy self serve check-in, allocated onsite parking. And again, the view from the bed out the window is amazing. Would absolutely recommend!"

"Our stay at the New Inn 1730 was only overnight, and we arrived around 6pm on a Sunday evening. This is a welcoming & friendly pub, with restaurant and accommodation. The owner did his best to accommodate our needs during our short stay, and is still finding his feet a little having only recently taken on the business.
Food options were limited when we arrived, particularly for our two fussy children, so we did eat elsewhere that night, but the cooked breakfast in the morning was very good,...

"Rating is more specific to hotels.com listing details, not the actual space. Note that hotels.com incorrectly shows the location on the map, house is actually over an hour walk from the center of Windermere. Further, hotels.com inaccurately details free WiFi at the accommodation. Space itself is about as pictured. Very cosy, lovely garden, however did quite aggressively smell of wet dog and conservatory had some spiders/cobwebs. "

"Nice place, right time of the year. Cabin and hot tub were excellent. The shared pool leaves a little to be desired for young kids. Especially those who may not be confident in the water. I would go back and stay in Lodge 15 Langsdale again. Short trips in the car gave great views of the area and loads to do. "

"We loved our stay at Little Brook Cottage. Perfectly located within the town of Windermere and walkable to shops, restaurants and sights. A little piece of home in The Lake District. "

The Lakeland Kendal Hotel, Sure Hotel Collection by BW
10/10 Excellent
"We stayed last night and all staff are very friendly the room was very spacious and lovely fluffy towels. The room to our door needs attention but it locked so that’s the main thing. We would stay there again. Anna & Paul Rollinson "
"Lovely hotel on the banks of the lake. Spa including indoor pool, sauna & steam room along with changing facilities. Staff were incredibly helpful and kind.
Only downsides were breakfast was small portions, the veggie sausage was amazing but the veggie bacon not so much. There were many rooms that had been refurbished but ours wasn’t one of them, so the decor was a little dated & the fabric sofa needed a good clean.
Nice touches in terms of information about the local area and bottles of water at the bedside. Tea, coffee & hot chocolate making facilities in the room and room service available with a fee per delivery.
Thanks for having us!"
