Best Western Hunt's Landing Hotel Matamoras/Milford
2/10 Terrible
"Dead bugs in the room, broken AC (knob just spun, couldn’t adjust temperature), high humidity, stains on the carpeting — couldn’t wait to leave. Would not stay again."
"Breakfast was good, pool was nice, rooms were clean. Only wish was more flexibility with a late check out. 30 min extension isn't much when attending a morning athletic event and needing to shower."
"Stayed during a 2-day journey to Lego Land Park. Overall a good stay and convenient to Park. Room was suitable for its purpose and kid liked the decor. Food is not tasty but not other options. Breakfast was fair though. Staff at the Hotel and Park are real pros with customer service #1 priority evident in every interaction."
Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Goshen Middletown
10/10 Excellent
"Love staying here when we go to get away for a weekend. The only thing I'd say is I told front desk my drawer didn't stay closed and no one came to look and I hit my shin on it 2xs and my toilet paper holder was almost twisted down."
"Hotel was really nice, so clean and breakfast was great! Coffee bar was excellent! Only complaint would be the hotel let people rent out the pool and my family & our guests who stayed at the hotel with us weren’t able to use the pool. Plus it was quite wild in there so it was not appropriate for families & young children. We would definitely come back again!"
"Booked online but had to check in at the desk because the online key never works at this location. When checking in they said they just needed my card to put a hold just incase which is normal. What I wasn’t told was that there is a $75 pet fee and I wasn’t getting the money back. I don’t mind a pet fee it’s just strange nobody told me. I found out after I checked out from the receipt send to my email. Otherwise the stay was okay, the girl at the front desk was always on a personal call which made check out annoying as I had to wait for her to finish. Now the reason for the terrible rating is the last night the was a COCKROACH on the wall behind the tv. We looked around and couldn’t find any others but we were up all night stressed about it. I tried messaging someone on the Hilton app to see if anything could be done but no one answered."
"For a three-night stay, this place did the trick. The check-in process was easy, and the woman at the Front Desk was pleasant enough. The hotel itself is a bit outdated, but the room was pretty well-kept and the housekeeping staff was friendly. Aside from a few issues (tricky tub faucet, slow-draining bathroom sink, shower rod not fully secured, and a very brief overnight power outage one night), everything was okay. My room had a view of the front lawn, which is nicely landscaped, and a partial view of the mountains in the distance. They had a standard breakfast setup (pastries, coffee, cereal, waffle maker) that I didn't get the chance to check out. The vending machine selection was a bit sparce but I grabbed essentials from a nearby gas station. Overall, the stay was as expected. The AC, microwave, fridge, and iron were all in good order in the room. An AirBnb would probably be a bit more comfortable, but for a simple, no-frills place to rest your head for a few nights, it works. I visit the area a few times per year, and would likely stay here again."

What are holiday rentals like in Greenville?
Holiday rentals are privately owned properties you can book for a few days, or a quick weekend, in Greenville. Holiday rentals feature extras such as kitchens and laundry facilities so you'll have everything you want. If you're concerned about a sanitised environment, a holiday rental can offer a sense of privacy away from public hotel lifts and bustling concierge desks while still allowing you the enjoyment of travel. You'll also find more space in a holiday rental than in a hotel, which is another reason why a holiday rental is a great option for a small group gathering.
