"Run down, hard beds, housekeeping staff messed with my party before we got in the elevator and she pressed all the upper floors so we had to go all the way up and stop on each floor before going downstairs to check out. She was laughing as the elevator door closed on us. Unprofessional!! Will not be back"

"Hotel was clean and exactly as listed! Breakfast was perfect with waffles, eggs, French toast, cereal, yogurt and various breads. The bar tender, Stephen, was amazing!!!! He offered suggestions as to some great places to visit and also made fantastic cocktails! This hotel was only a few blocks from 4th Street Live! Great place to stay! Will definitely be going back! "The Brown is a beautiful, historic hotel located in downtown Louisville that is close to restaurants and nightlife. The staff were wonderful. Want to give a special shout out to Jeremiah. He was our bartender our first night and our waiter the second night of our stay. While there you must try the Hot Brown as this is where the dish was originally created. It was delicious!"
