"Poor quality rooms. Bathroom doors are rotten and carpets are stained. Room 206 had a smell similar to a public hospital. The beds are soft and over used."

Guest house is a good 10mins walk to the main street but surrounding area very quiet. Breakfast as plentiful. Staff extremely friendly. I would definitely return!"
"A beautiful guest house with amazing views over the wheat fields and sheep. The hosts were excellent and always on hand for a chat or advice. Loved the dinner just far too much food but beautifully cooked and would definitely recommend the dinners. Breakfast was equally as good. Lovely pool area for a chill in the afternoon sun."
"This hotel deserves a much better rating on Expedia! We just returned from a night and a day in the Provençal Suite. The room and hotel generally are immaculate with all facilities you could want set among pristine gardens. The private plunge pool was a wonderful way to enjoy the view along with the complementary bottle of wine they provided in the room. We ate at the restaurant, which was delicious and breakfast was also excellent will all options you would expect or want. We travelled as a couple and would highly recommend this hotel and restaurant to anyone visiting Franshoek. Thank you to the lovely staff who were very welcoming."
