"This is a very nice place. Located in a central place, close to almost everything, especially the train station. The beautiful mountain is right outside, especially a great view from the balcony. The staff is excellent, very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is awesome! The best one we had on our European trip. And the girl who takes care of the breakfast is so sweet and nice, always makes sure to say "Goodbye" when you are leaving. I loved this place. It's a great value, especially the breakfast. I would definitely stay here when we return. "

The hotel staff are wonderful, the food is fantastic (the best steak that we have ever had!), and the location is ideal (bus stop is in the parking lot ski in ski out when there is snow). The rooms are clean and modern. A resort shuttle runs when buses are not running (at an additional cost). This all made for a relaxing stay. "

"Grindelwald is such a pretty town so this hostel is the most cost effective to stay in grindelwald. Clean and good selection at breakfast. Only disadvantage is that it is located high up on the hill so it’s a steep treck up walking but bus also goes there every half an hour"
