"Das erhaltene Zimmer entsprach nicht der gebuchten Kategorie. Gebucht wurde ein Zimmer mit großem Wasserbett, zugeteilt wurde ein kleineres Zimmer mit 2 normalen Einzelbetten. Ich hatte nicht das Gefühl, dass meine Einwände jemanden sonderlich interessiert hätten. Das einzige Zugeständnis bestand darin, dass mir die Betten zusammengeschoben wurden. "It’s a very decent place. Almost everything I needed during my trip. Peaceful surroundings, good beer and breakfast. I wish rooms were equipped with AC, especially during the recent heatwave but I understand for this price."

"Rooms need either air conditioning or better ceiling fans. When it gets hot, there is no way to get proper airflow. If you open the windows, the insects will come inside your room. Please also add a microwave to the rooms. Shower was clogged with hair and the water could not evacuate. I had to unclog the shower otherwise the water level would have risen and gone into the bedroom area."

We had to use Google Translate for all interactions including ordering breakfast, asking for towels, etc. Finally, the public spaces are very austere. This seems out of place with the historic hotel. For example, there are just IKEA tables and chairs in the eating area but then there is a large open foyer on the second floor with a grand piano. But there are no chairs or couches in that room. It seems with a bit of TLC this could be a great boutique hotel and cool place to hang out. This is especially true when you consider the location right across the street from the historical theatre where we attended the International Ballet Festival."
