We loved our stay at Candlewood Suites. The hotel is an easy walk from Grand Central, Times Square and so many other places - in fact, we never went everywhere on foot during our entire stay. The rooms are small but not tiny, and the kitchens are well equipped. A nice touch is you can borrow other kitchen gadgets and things from reception. Complimentary tea and coffee is available in the hotel lobby area, and snacks are also available for purchase. There are tons of eateries nearby. The hotel also boasts a laundry and small gym, plus the rooms had decent sized TVs with a few decent channels. The price was incredible, and the staff top notch. The only complaints I had are the rooms look a little tired in places, and the wifi on our floor (29) was a little erratic. The manager checked in on us by text message several times during our stay which was a very nice touch.

I had a wonderful experience during my stay. Everything went smoothly, and while the property isn't overly fancy, it offers a straightforward price-to-value option that I truly appreciated. The location in Manhattan is incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore the city. If you're looking for a comfortable stay without breaking the bank, this is a great choice!

This hotel was beautiful and service was excellent. Dining at the restaurant was overpriced for what the food was.

A basic option.with no resort fees or hidden fees. 50 dollar refundable deposit. Room has no fridge but there is an ice machine downstairs so we took a cool bag. Room serviced really well on demand. Yes it was a bit noisy but you’re in NYC. Take earplugs and you’re also so shattered from walking of course you will sleep. Excellent location. Easy deli type place next door for breakfast. Safe and really great friendly reception staff too. Room was comfortable for temperature. They adjusted for us when we arrived. You cant adjust yourself but we didnt have an issue in April. Would stay again for ease.

Great location but it’s a huge hotel with many, many rooms so not a good choice if you don’t like crowds. We were there during construction so it will be much less congested when the lobby renovation is done.
