"Loved walking around and shopping in charming, old Swiss Appenzell as well as the variety of restaurants. Our room was comfortable and the owner and employees’ attention to details made it special, like a terrarium in the bathroom, good breakfast included, limited parking in their lot, and a large selection of tv channels. "Great hotel - automated check in was easier than expected. Free laundry right outside our door. Hotel restaurant is great. Only negative comment is we are not a fan of carpet in hotel rooms. Carpet was clean but prefer uncarpeted floors."
