"Beautiful location with private beach. The beach is a little coarse and there are rocks in the ocean, but it was really nice. The pool and pool deck were great. Breakfast was good. Lunch and dinner menus were mediocre. Overall very happy with our stay. "

"Our family (7 people 3 rooms) had a great stay.
The facility is very clean and up to date. The rooms are spacious with the air conditioning working wonderfully!
The beach is as advertised, small, but a cove. Crystal clear water, and great sand lent for a wonderful beach stay, our first time in the region.
Parking is tight, and the road to get there is “slightly” a one lane that supports 2 directional cars, all part of the adventure…. Go slow and remember you are in Italy!
We had one snafu which was expensive. 2 of the 7 people met us at the hotel (different flight/car). I bought the family’s hotel rooms, Expedia only allowed me to book 5 people (and rooms). The 2 extra people (in the same rooms) cost us $1,000 for 3 nights! That seemed unfair to me."

"We stayed at La Taverna for 5 nights in late June. The room was clean, the area was quiet. The swimming pool was perfect, not crowded, and the beach was at a walkable distance. Appreciated the shop and local restaurants nearby.
The staff was very helpful. There was a free shuttle to the train station (we visitedTropea).
I can recommend La Taverna!"
