"Our room was very pleasant and clean, staff was friendly and helpful. Amenities were great and well maintained. The breakfast was delicious and a great plus. Pet friendly and they have a small dog area for them to run around and use the bathroom. My family and I will definitely be staying here again on our next trip."

"Pros: Check in was quick and painless. Rooms, pool & spa very clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. Loved the variety of fresh items for breakfast. Very clean area also. We loved how our room had front parking and very close to pool, spa and walk to beach. The outer grass areas (cigarettes everywhere), garbage cans overflowing), guests were loud and people drilling outside at 12 am-2 . And although beds were very clean, they were very uncomfortable . Back was killing us in the morning. Cracks and building structure seemed outdated and in need of work. Very concerning for property Oceanside. "

"The room was large and looked out on a lovely backyard. But, the room was a bit rough. There were lots of scuffs on the walls, fixtures/furniture were old/worn, and there was a strange, large open space that looked like it once held a couch. The hotel itself has some beautiful old common rooms/spaces. We came to town for a graduation and thought it would be fun to stay someplace more unique. We arrived at the hotel around 2:15 and were told that check-in was at 3pm, unless we wanted to pay a fee. So, we waited…as did other people who began showing up. Consequently, then, right at 3, there was a very long line of people that had to wait for one of the two clerks. The opposite of good customer service, in my opinion. The first room we were assigned smelled like cigarette smoke. So, then we had to take our luggage cart back downstairs and wait in the long line to be assigned an alternate room. No real apologies - and no dispensation. The location is convenient. But, stay in one of the newer hotels in town and go there to check out the cool rooms and stained glass."

"The staff accommodate our late check in. Thr instructions were clear and everything worked very well. The room was clean, and the bed very comfortable. We did not need the ac, I don't know if it was working but the iron and the iron table were very helpful, as well as the small refrigerator. For the price on a weekend and a last minute reservation this was worth staying. Near the SBP airport, across frombthe supermarket, Starbucks, and Dennys. The 101 Freeway was 2 min away. Super convenient location. It is highly recommended. The neighborhood was safe and clean. We are thankful for the room. Expedia was also easy to navigate. All went smoothly. We are happy satisfied guests. Parking also very convenient next to the gas station. And quiet!"

"When I checked in the two men working weren’t friendly. Then demanded my credit card for “incidentals”. One of the men was out in the parking lot on his phone (FaceTime or speaker) talking for hours. It’s more of a motor inn, room doors outside. So this was right outside my door/window. The door had gaps wide enough to see light through and under. Then a group of people showed up yelling, partying, kids running up and down the stairs until at least 2am. I’m all for having fun but they were SO disrespectful and NOTHING was said to them. All in all it wasn’t a good experience at all."
