"This was a good hotel with a very nice staff. The common areas and my room were very clean. It did not have an elevator, which would have been nice to know before booking a room on the 2nd floor. However the front desk was able to put me on the first floor without any issue. The breakfast was alright, hard-boiled eggs, cereal, waffles, and oatmeal were the mains. For a 1 or 2 night stay it was solid for the money."
Fairfield Inn & Suites Cheyenne Southwest/Downtown Area
2/10 Terrible
"We are traveling due to a death in the family and booked a two-night stay. We were unable to get to the destination as we got stranded in the mountains behind a 70 car pile up and the highway was closed. We had to pay for another hotel 4 hours away from the hotel reserved in Cheyenne. We called to advise we cannot make it and the hotel Told us they had just “checked us in cause they were changing shifts.” I told them we could not get there and explained the situation. The attendant thought they could provide us a free night the 2nd night. The highway was opened the next day. When we arrived the next day after attending the funeral, they said the manager said they would not credit us for the previous night. This was after I chatted with Hotels.com who agreed that they should not have checked us in without arriving and figured they would also waive the 2nd night. It is unfortunate and poor service especially when we didn’t even receive a mention of condolence as they knew we were there attending a funeral. Guess I won’t go back ever again!"
"Check in was quick and easy. We were allowed to bring our cat for a small fee. Breakfast was ready at 6:30 and they have the basics. Which is no more than was promised. No complaints. Excellent stay. Very clean. Friendly staff. Great experience. "
