"Check was horrible an impolite staff member who did inform us of our room number and had to be reminded again was Hilton Honors member too. Pool and breakfast were great outside property was disgusting with dog poop along walk ways. Dogs though leashed greeted us as we try to get off elevator and backed us back in by coming at us and growling. Owner very rude and would not pull away even though we stated we are not dog people."

"Nice view of ocean from small balcony on the third level. Breakfast was well-prepared with a good variety over our two mornings. Nice touch with 24-hour hot beverage machine with lots of coffe, etc. choices. Beach out front is wide and flat, perfect for all beach-goers. Staff was very nice and property was very clean and maintained. Well done! This was our first time to Amelia Island. We plan to return and would certainly stay again at the Amelia Seaside Inn!"

"The rooms are okay. A bit tired. Our room carried an odor that said pets have stayed there before... That being said the staff was very helpful and the location is wonderful. Fort clinch state Park (directly across the street) is beautiful and we spent two full days there (2A &4kids). There is a great playground not far from the hotel and great eating places. We loved Tastys (burgers) and Arte pizza!! "

"Excellent staff. Attentive to detail. Hotel is not a Ritz Carlton. Missing all out service and a facilities you pay for. Lobby bar closed until 3pm, gourmet restaurant closed Sunday and monday. No service outside areas. Not a Ritz when you have to buy a bottle of wine and plastic cups to enjoy overlooking the ocean."

"The property is in a wonderful location. It’s steps to the lighthouse and the beach! Short walk to the pier and the pier village and multiple restaurants. We had our dog Penny with us and she loved it! "
