The location was ideal on the peninsula - right beside Kikjufellafoss and positioned well for us to continue northwards. Kitchen was fully stocked and facilities were good. I accidentally forgot some belongings and the staff was incredibly helpful in getting it back to me.

This place is pretty basic. No answer from the staff when i reached out. No one was there when we checked in. Our room was right by the kitchen so it was noisy til 10. No breakfast options close.. Our room was very warm.

The guesthouse was close to the small town and the mountain and a a great base for exploring the peninsula. The guest house we had was an apartment style with four single beds and a kitchenette. It was clean and well maintained. Would definitely stay here again if we came back to the area.

Located just a few minutes from town, and the main parking areas for viewing Kirkjufell, this guesthouse is in a great location. I had a first class view right from my window. My room was incredibly clean and larger than I expected. Many guests made use of the community kitchen, while I was just happy to be able to get coffee onsite in the morning.

It was a wonderful place. Starting from the reception lady who was very courteous and helpful. The rooms were clean the kitchen was wonderful and had everything you needed to prepare a meal. Surely will visit again. It’s a great location

Lodging options in this area are limited, so we really appreciated the convenience of how close Kirkjufell Guesthouse is to key attractions. Having access to a kitchen and fresh coffee in the morning was also convenient and made our stay better. The beds are not the most comfortable, but we were so exhausted from sightseeing that it didn't impact our sleep at all. The location is beautiful and I appreciated having a deck and living room as well.
