"We loved staying here! It’s secluded, intimate, and just picture-perfect. Abner was a great host and responded to small hiccups we experienced throughout the stay. There’s no light pollution so the stars shine bright and the howler monkeys made their presence known at night. The view in the morning is something to write home about. "The view from my room was breathtaking. The receptionist on my first day of check in was very helpful. Just for the view, I would definitely come back and stay here. Definitely recommend others to stay here if they are staying in San Ignacio.
My criticism would be the shower was a bit hard to use because the water was weak and that the pool was quite dirty. The water was murky.
The person on the day I checked out could have been a bit more courteous. After checking out, he just told me "you're all set". Something like "Thank you for staying with us. We hope you enjoyed your stay with us." would go a long way. "
"The hotel grounds are very beautiful. The walkways and bridges and trails are all very charming. The staff was very attentive. Dinner was good and the massages were wonderful. I would highly recommend. The only complaint is there is not air conditioning and it was quite hot"
