While the room was massive and the location was extremely convenient, noise was the biggest issue during my stay. Out of the four nights I was there, three were completely disrupted by the club next door, GRILL, which blasts incredibly loud music from 11:00 PM until 5:00 AM. The hotel does provide earplugs in the bathroom, which helped a little, but I absolutely would not recommend this place for light sleepers. To make matters worse, the room amenities are cheap and flimsy. I slightly chipped the edge of the kettle and was hit with a ridiculous 700 MXN charge. They also confiscated the kettle for the rest of my stay and never even provided a replacement. The spacious rooms and great location simply aren't worth the sleepless nights and unfair fees. I would not stay here again.

The property is beautiful and the staff were all friendly and helpful. We really appreciated the offer of tequila upon check-in. The only downside at check-in was that our room was on the fourth floor with no elevator, and lugging our luggage up the stairs after a long day of travel was not fun. The woman who showed us to our room offered to help, but I wasn't going to ask HER to lug my luggage... We also wished we could have had a place to enjoy a drink while we awaited our car service, but we were told the restaurant was undergoing a shift change (at 1:00 p.m. on a Sunday afternoon, right during the lunch hour...) and that would be impossible. Otherwise we recommend this hotel!

A Memorable Stay

The staff were good, efficient and friendly, with one major exception - when we expressed concerns about noise in our room, we were switched to a room they said would be quieter. In reality, that room was 10 times louder, so they agreed to move us back to the original room. The location is very central and close to everything, which made it easy to explore the area without hassle.

Perfect location in city center. All tourist locations within walking distance. Advise using the free ear plugs they provide if you want to sleep without noise. Beatiful hotel and service. Would definitely book here again whenever we return to GTO.

Very nice and clean room. Spacious and great set up. My friends staying at a hotel nearby were jealous. However, the mattresses were some of the firmest Ive ever slept on, the bar downstairs is quite loud until midnight. And the restaurant food wasn't great. The room gets a 9/10. The hotel an 8/10
