Top choice to stay in Guanajuato City, GTO! The Edelmira was clean, updated, centrally located and with a fabulous breakfast and meal mid and evening meal options. The center of everything “touristy” takes place just outside the doors of this hotel. The staff was responsive, checkin/out was effortless, Overall, I highly recommend the Edelmira for a stay in Guanajuato City.

Location is ideal for exploring central Guanajuato. I had a room that was just like the Expedia pictures, it looked onto the central atrium, and was very quiet. the staff were very helpful, especially when my onward ride was two hours late.

Great location, friendly and very helpful staff. The room is somewhat tight, with no windows to the outside. The pool/hot tub is accessed through the restaurant and is only open in the morning.

Decent hotel, but not truly a boutique facility. It’s clearly a remodeled house in an awesome location (downtown) but sadly the place (and room surroundings) had a stinky smell. The hotel had a permanent odor to fried chicken and the view from our suite was to a neighboring alley with a stench of trash.

Service in a Surprising Unesco Site

This was a gem found in a surprising city of discovery. A great stay. Staff did everything to ensure our comfort. There is no parking near the hotel and driving a car to the location isn't easy. The staff met us in a loading zone near the hotel, took our bags and then escorted me (the driver) to free parking off site and then repeated the procedure upon departure. Great service.

I liked that the property was so convenient and walking distance from where we had planned to go very clean hotel only thing I did not like the check in the staff at the front don't welcome you very serious and rude staff during the check in or when walking in the only friendly people there was the cleaning ladys there and the guy who helped us with our luggage to our room he was a very friendly guy with glasses light complected ... Other than that I loved the stay.

It’s been a long time since I’ve been to a hotel that actually looks like the pictures. It was super clean which is most important. Great location. Walking distance to so many great attractions. Customer service was great. Reps attended to us with every need we had. I booked 1room 2 double beds. I traveled with my husband and mother. We were charged for the extra person. When I booked I booked with just 2 ppl. I had never experienced that before ( personally ) hotel did have breakfast included, so kinda of makes sense. Breakfast was very good at hotel. Jacuzzi pool area was very nice but the jacuzzi doesn’t heat up. Overall would highly recommend. Great hotel!
