At Last!!! A perfect small hotel.

Everything is right about the Escalon. Quiet location, Very Quiet. Nice yard on water with a grassy area within which to relax. 3 blocks from lots of restaurants. Fantastic staff, super nice and wanted to help whenever they could. This hotel is an example for others in Guayaquil. Top quality experience.

Very pleased with the accommodations. Extremely clean and very welcoming. We were told to use the facilities as if they were our own. Wonderful presentation for breakfast. Would definitely return.

One problem was that even though we had the address two taxi drivers had difficulty locating the hotel, so I would suggest additional description in the directions to the hotel.

Recommended

The owners were very nice, friendly and helpful. Huge breakfasts, good wifi, spacious rooms. They let us stay till 7pm the day we checked out without charging us anything extra which was fantastic.

Impressive

We were greeted at the airport by Johnny, the owners son. A short ride to the hotel where we enjoyed our spacious room and hot shower. The bed was very comfortable. The area was quiet. The owner served us a delicious gluten free breakfast by request. We plan to stay again on our return trip to the US.
