"The pool areas were good. The staff were welcoming and helpful, unfortunately except for one staff member. There was a variety of food however the hot food was either luke warm or cold."

"Honestly, this was a pleasant surprise. The hotel is easily accessible from the airport, we took a direct bus and then just walked a few minutes to the location. It’s in a lovely, posh part of St Julians, right on the bay, with views of either the marina or the sea. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The rooms seemed newly renovated, were very clean, and each one had a balcony, which I wasn’t expecting. You get all the basic amenities: towels, shampoo, conditioner, soap, body wash, a hairdryer, kettle with tea and coffee, a fridge, and a TV. The room could have done with more lighting, and the mattress wasn’t the most comfortable. That said, the rooms were really quiet, even though we were right next to a lift, which was impressive. There is also air conditioning for warmer days. The hotel has both indoor and outdoor pools overlooking the sea. My friend loved the spa. The buffet had a good selection but hot substantial but honestly less is more. I was really happy to see gluten-free options available. There’s also a bistro café that stays open late, which is super convenient. WiFi is meant to be for members, but I was able to join without any issues. One of the best features is the luggage storage—they’ll securely hold your bags if you check out early but are staying in the city longer so no need for a late checkout. There’s also a corner shop nearby, perfect for grabbing water and snacks. All in all, I would defo come back and highly recommend "

"We've just had two weeks at the Maritim and absolutely loved our stay. Fabulous hotel. Spotlessly clean, and there's not a part of it that doesn't smell beautifully. The daily housekeeping has been a good standard every day and the breakfast is fresh and varied, replenished frequently so you never have to wait long if a tray runs out. Many vegetarian options, though very limited for vegans. Amazing king size bed in our room which was very comfortable. Lovely products in the bathroom, including shampoo and conditioner. The location in Mellieha town was great, too. Good for the buses and local restaurants. The only downside was very few sun loungers. Not so much a problem in the winter when less people want to use them, but I can imagine in summer it would be annoying. We were disappointed that we couldn't use the roof terrace during our stay, but work needed doing to it. All in all though, we had an absolutely brilliant stay here and would definitely come back. Highly recommend."
