"Generally a good place to stay - this is our second visit. It's nice to be downtown so dining options are walkable. The street is a bit scruffy, but downtown Guelph is reasonably attractive as a whole, and soon will be much better once the streetscape improvements are complete. The suite is comfortable and clean. It's worth noting that it's a walkup; check-in is in the bar/restaurant downstairs; and nighttime street noise can be disruptive.
A few things management should address: 1) repair the wall under the A/C unit; there's no excuse for not buying a couple cans of paint and shutting down the suite for a day of painting. 2) tighten the kitchen faucet; it was loose during our previous visit over a year ago. 3) we suggest using refillable bathroom items (shampoo, body wash, etc.) rather than individual units; probably cheaper per volume, and much less wasteful."
