The next morning, we had to get back to the airport and there were no local taxis or Uber. The owner took us to the airport at short notice - for a reasonable charge. "A mid price hotel on the outskirts of Peronne. As usual with such , its away from the centre, a car journey for shops, restaurants etc. The rooms are quite small but, adequate for the essentials. Shower worked fine with ok pressure. The beds are comfy, maybe an extra pillow would be nice. Breakfast was good, wide choice and typical of French fare. The evening meal a little disappointing. Better to visit one of the restaurants in town. The staff were friendly, efficient and spoke good English. Parking on site. This was a battlefield trip so it forfilled my requirements and, I would book again in the future"
