The Woodshed

"The Woodshed is lovely, it had everything we needed and is quiet and well located. There’s a comfy bed with loads of hanging space (and hangers) and other storage. The clean bathroom couldn’t be closer with plenty of room for toiletries, plus spare loo rolls along with lots of towels. The well equipped kitchen had more than enough of everything and was bigger than it looked in the photos. The comfy lounge met all our needs and you can park smack bang outside - perfect. Michelle even provided a good and quiet fan as it was extremely hot for our stay. However what sets the Woodshed apart is the views over the valley which are outstanding. We are going back next year as there’s so many places to visit nearby."

"The property is 400 yrs old so expect things to be uneven. The current owners have only been there a few years so maybe they still have work to do. The bedrooms are described on the website as "stylish "....I would say plain. The bedding was clean, bathroom ok but it was difficult to get the shower to the right temperature...it was either boiling or cold. Room 5 had a frosted window but it was hot so we had it open. The room could do with a slight update....e.g. more plug sockets and a bigger table for the tea/coffee etc. Being oblong meant the layout wasn't the best. The food served at breakfast was very good. Staff were pleasant. Car park was small and a little difficult to manoeuvre in, depending on how others parked. Hard to tell which spaces belonged to the pub. There is road parking too. It was ok for the price. Great location in Much Wenlock."

"Great location, friendly host who provided the extra bonus of cake! Very clean, although the bed and pillows were a little hard for our taste and we booked the downstairs room - so please be aware that you are able to hear street noise and people walking around the house, not very soundproof. Large modern bathroom and great amenities in the room, the host couldn’t do enough for you"

"Excellent location though no onsite parking but car park nearby. The member of staff who booked us in and showed us to our room, and later served us in the restaurant, was exceptional - welcoming, cheerful, informative, helpful. The member of staff who served breakfast was equally good - efficient, cheerful and helpful. Food was good and the room was comfortable and clean."

"Room was a good size. Restaurant and dining room was nicely decorated and breakfast had lots of choices to cater for everyone. Staff were friendly and helpful. Bar was an added bonus. Surroundings were lovely and the outdoor seating area is nice too. Hotel currently undergoing refurbishment which will make a huge difference once completed. I would stay here again and would recommend this hotel."

"This is a beautiful house right in Ironbridge! We would very happily go back, the house is beautifully decorated, very well equipped, the owners thought of everything. My daughter loved the games and chess board. With the cottage being right by the bridge, the view is lovely! Super comfortable bed, 5 stars!! The pedestrian street is so pretty, you must go up the hill and do the round loop, beautiful and peaceful."
