"It was great once I actually got the apartment I had booked. They tried to fob me off with a much smaller room with no kitchen or washing machine. I decided to complain so actually got the apartment about 2pm the next day. There was a lot of apologies & a plate of delicious treats to compensate but to be honest I was really gutted to waste a whole day. "I visited with my two children aged 19 and 15. We absolutely loved our stay and we would definitely come back! In fact I have already recommended to my friends and family! The view is stunning! I opted for garden view and hindsight I should have chosen a room with sea view, especially if you want to spend some evenings/mornings sitting outside of your room! There are two pools and seem enough for the hotel guests but they are not huge so if you want to swim longer lengths, you maybe disappointed but if you just want to cool now and again, it’s perfect! Food is lovely! Not cheap but decent quality and the portions are very good. Breakfast is amazing as there is so much choice! The hotel is less than 10 minutes walk to the seafront as there are plenty side streets that are shortcuts straight down to the seafront. There’s a taxi rank next door but we didn’t need it as walked everywhere! There are also minibuses/dolmuş to other towns if you want to explore. I would highly recommend Kumpir (jacket potato) place which is right in the middle of the old town bazaar and if you sit at the front you have the perfect view of the castle and lovely sunset in the evening! Boat trip is a must if you want to swim in the turquoise waters of nearby islands and bays!"
