Town Houses in Gunma Prefecture

All I can say is I should stay more than 1 day! Great onsen with sulphuric minerals. Good location, 2 ways 10 minutes walk from centre but hey! Who is rushing? Near 7-11 and another convenience shop and cake shop and bus station.

Very clean and great service! The whole place is bean-themed which is very cute. Every part of the welcome snack and breakfasts had some kind of bean. They also have very nice free homemade drinks. Your room also has a chocolate bean snack which is really yummy! There’s a private toilet (no bath) and sink in your room, with plenty of private baths available on the first floor. Beautiful ryokan hotel with attentive staff, the overall atmosphere of the place is calming, perfect for a retreat. The kaiseki meals for dinner and breakfast had generous portions - food was pretty good (but not exceptional compared to other ryokans). There's also free yakult, ice cream / ice lollies, tea and late night ramen served at the lounge during different timings, these were nice treats to have after a good soak at the onsen. This hotel is way above and beyond the usual business hotel in the area. It's relatively new so everything is clean and in great condition. The attention to detail is amazing as pointed out by other reviewers. The massage chair in the room is something to look forward to after a long day. The only drawback i can think of is the area surrounding the hotel is pretty dead and it's a longer walk to the station.

This is a very beautiful ryokan. It has gone through renovations so the interior is new and modern, but it has also retained the charms of a ryokan with tatami floors, indoor gardens etc. The room is very big and well heated. I wish I had more time to hang around the ryokan! We had a half board, which includes dinner and breakfast. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It is very nicely decorated & cozy. An excellent location (in the woods feel), though we did lost our way. Looking for it. But it was all worth it. A great property for staycation!
