"Had a beautiful stay at this property on our albania trip. We really enjoyed the stay, the food and the place. The staff was so helpfull and friendly the whole atmosphere is serene from the town and the internet was really good. The breakfast was starting at 8 clock, we had to leave at 7:30 for the boat ride, they arranged breakfast early just for us that was really appreciatable. And was so tasty!! I would really recommend this place."

There is no place to even approach the hotel with an auto - to even make inquiries. I had to illegally park my car. And "parking available" apparently means "you are on your own". "This small family-run hotel is conveniently located in the centre of Shkoder. The bus stop to and from Tirana and Valbone is only a 10 minute walk away. There is an iron and ironing board on every floor. My room was very spacious and equipped with a small refrigerator. They serve a delicious Albanese breakfast. If you plan on hiking between Valbone and Theth, you can leave your luggage at the hotel free of charge. I highly recommend this wonderful hotel."

"A nice, new and basic hotel that’s perfect for an overnight stay. The room was clean and the bed sheets were fresh, although the blankets did have a noticeable body odour and needed a good wash. There was no kettle in the room, but one was provided when I asked. Breakfast was simple but nice, with croissants, bread, butter, jam, honey, fruit and cheese. The coffee machine was a lovely bonus."

"First off you need to be an adventurous traveler. You must have an SUV or 4x4 or you will never get there. You will find yourself in a remote area in the beautiful Alps of Albania. The visual experience is spectacular. This is a great experience that only a few will appreciate. Once you finally arrive the family is extremely gracias and they make sure you are well fed...breakfast, lunch and dinner! This is included. If you like to hike or just sit outside and enjoy the magnificent beauty of the Albanian Alps you will have an amazing experience and a great memory. Please do not expect anything fancy! This family is humble and gives their guests everything they have. Everything they offer you to eat is produced by their own hands. If you truly want to get back to basics and to experience living off the land this one's for you! I will always treasure the hospitality we received from our gracias hosts."
