"We had an exceptional vacation and enjoyed the facilities and location. My one suggestion is to ask for an inside room instead of facing the street as it can be noisy. Certainly not the hotel’s fault. The rooms are clean, modern and well designed. The front desk responded to our every need within minutes. The outdoor pool and loungers were busy but we always managed to get one. The indoor pool was warm with full access to the steam room and shower. The SPA was reasonably priced and the treatment(s) were great. (Message, reflexology and red light) The cafe on the main floor is very reasonably priced, spotless and again the service was great. The gym features new equipment, always available. The location is walking access to the ferry, hundreds of restaurants with awesome views and good shopping including groceries if you chose to eat in. My only concern is that I left my prescription eye glasses behind and the hotel has confirmed they have them but I haven’t been able to get them to confirm they are mailing them to me. Totally my fault but need confirmation that they have been sent."

"Absolutely one of the most memorable trips I’ve had (and I have done hundreds!). Hyatt Centric just ticked off everything for me. The staff were all incredible, helpful, always smiling and attentive. The room had a lot of space, bed was comfortable, AC was spot on, all the amenities were great! They even did a surprise in the room, thank you staff for being sweet. 🥰 I am already looking forward to going back and have already told all my friends to book this place. The location is absolutely 💯 what we needed, in the centre of it all, restaurants, bars - beach…just amazing! Can’t fault this hotel. Deserves a 5***** 🙌🙌🙌 Oh the sunset view was incredible, do not miss it! The pool was ❤️"

"We enjoyed our stay at Verdi Gzira Promenade..Great location to restaurants, ferry to Valletta and boat tours. The room was, quiet, modern and clean but the AC leaked when it was turned off/ removed key. Also the soap was not refilled, had to ask and then it was taken care of. The staff and friendly and helpful. We paid for breakfast which was worth it. Overall great place to stay in Malta"

"The hotel itself is very nice, and the rooms are exceptionally clean. However, there were a few important issues that we were not informed about in advance. Our room was on the 4th floor, but the windows and balcony overlooked the reception area located on the 3rd floor. Because of this, all the noise from the reception carried directly into the room. The phone at reception rang very frequently, and conversations could also be heard. This was not much of a problem during the day since we were usually out, but in the evening it was difficult to fall asleep. The sound insulation is very poor, and any noise from the reception area was clearly audible in the room. Opening the balcony door made the situation even worse, as the noise became very loud. Another issue was the complete lack of natural sunlight in the room. This would have been understandable if the room overlooked an internal courtyard, but that was not the case. The room felt dark all the time, both during the day and at night, almost as if you were staying in a basement. It made the room feel quite closed in and less comfortable to spend time in. If you decide to stay at this hotel, I strongly recommend asking in advance where your room will be located and whether it overlooks the reception area. Apart from these issues, the hotel was clean, modern, and well maintained."

"Unfortunately the location for the hotel it’s probably the worst. New construction is underway (right opposite the hotel), making the area extremely loud and not suitable for a relaxing get away. Please avoid at all cost the St Julian area, if you are above 30. Such a bad location full of youngsters and clubs."

"Great hotel and setting is amazing but attention to details with guest services needs work , we had 2 rooms , one of the rooms air con wasn’t working properly and smelt bad I raised this twice with them but nothing was done , also on the day of check out we received a letter under our door welcoming us to the hotel and mentioning that we can claim a free bottle of house wine during our stay , but only receiving this letter on the morning of check out meant we couldn’t use the offer , I asked to remove another drink from the bill but they were unable to do so , they offered the wine to take away but not something I could have done as was literally about to leave for the airport . Food was great , restaurant staff were great and friendly it’s just the little things that spoilt it a little , otherwise rating would have been higher"
