Friendly at first at the desk after that no good mornings or even a hello and the rooms are clean but leaking water from the shower door wouldn’t close to the jacuzzi leaking water all over the floor plus it didn’t work and the refrigerator didn’t work and we had our clothes washed and had a very friendly person help us with questions on our clothes getting washed and got them done in a timely manner I appreciated her very much but I would say fix your things in the rooms before giving them to customers

The staffs of Muong Thanh was super rude. When our taxi drove us to the wrong location which is only a few meter away, the staff scream at the driver and chase us off the property...

Room is big and bed comfortable. Had a room on high floor facing Halong Bay and Sun Whell Complex. Had a fantastic view of the cable car station as well. Buffet breakfast was good with a wide variety of food.

Definitely not a 5 star hotel
From the outside I was pretty impressed and excited, but as soon as I got to the entrance, there was no one to help with luggage, not a single bellboy in site (and they call it a 5 star hotel? Check in however was speedy and one of our rooms were upgraded to the 33rd floor. Views were stunning however the condition of the hotel was poor. The beige interior was very outdated and I saw an employee (marketing sales) smoking right by the no smoking sign on the Spa level. The hotel seemed to be full of chinese and Korean guests so was really busy. The rooms were large, clean and provided plenty of space and a nice view of the bay area. Breakfast was also really good with plenty of options and tables. We did enquire about the karaoke rooms at reception but the staff seemed reluctant to help and told us that it was a separate company so they couldn't book us in. The hotel is conveniently located at the entrance of sunworld, a minutes walk from the cable car. which is definitely an attraction not to miss when visiting. Taxis were easy to hail down outside the hotel also. I don't think the service or feel of the hotel was 5 star, maybe more of a 3.5 star. On the fence if I would return here again.

There was thing you mentioned that our employee smoking in the Spa floor, we did check and would like to reconfirm that he was not our employee. The hotel rules don't allow any hotel staffs to do so. Room is good but need to improve service
The corner room where I stayed was clean and wide. However, outside is very noisy even in night time. Elevator works very slow and always full of people. I could not get in it more than 20 minutes although they have 6 elevators. The breakfast was also full of noisy people and no space to take a seat. Eventually I gave up to have a breakfast. I could see so many people stayed there, but hotel must have capability to manage a lot of people. I could not stay there comfortably.

Customer service to be improved
Checked into the hotel at night, the reception lady was impatient and threw us an attitude. Not all staff had an attitude problem like she did, what happened has left us a negative first impression on the hotel and diluted the efforts made by other frontline staff unfortunately. In spite of that particular staff member's issue, I have had a pleasant and comfortable stay. Room was cozy and spacious. Housekeeper reacted quickly and attentively to my request.

The Good, The Bad and the Ugly
I don't usually write reviews as the hotels I stay in generally meet my standards, However I felt the need to share my experience with this hotel. There is no way on earth that this hotel meets the standard of an international 5 star hotel in my opinion The Good Excellent location opposite the theme park which would be great for families. I was on the 32nd Floor and the views were amazing. Room was very large and spacious and reasonable value for the price. Room was very clean. The Bad I selected a premium deluxe room which was advertised with a Balcony. I can confirm there is not one Balcony in any room at this hotel. Hotels.com should remove this misleading statement. There was no room service whatsoever which I would assume should be a minimum requirement for a 5 star hotel? Wifi was hit and miss, working normally some times and then non existant at others which was annoying since I was on business. The Ugly Had intermittant problems flushing the toilet which is propbably just a room specific complaint, but as anyone who has travelled Vietnam knows, this is critical! Conclusion All up my stay was comfortable but average at best. When I return to Halong Bay I think I would prefer to stay at the Novotel or Whyndam as the western hotel chains have a more consistent and modern offering and you know what to expect.

Perfect Location to visit to SunWorld Theme Park
The hotel's location perfectly suited the purpose of our trip which was to bring the kids to SunWorld Ha Long Theme Park. Our front facing rooms on the 29th floor had amazing views of Ha Long Bay and the surrounding area. My only suggestion for improvement would be to extend the breakfast to 10.00am. Closing the breakfast buffet at 9.00am on a Saturday seems too early.

For a newer hotel very worn carpets and walls deplorable. Checkied at 3 am and was very surprised when daylight exposed the dirt. Staff very rude to Foreigners. I was advised they needed to hold my passport in case I tried to skip out without paying. Mind you my room was prepaid before I got there. Then they told me I could not get clean towels since I had been in the room only 4 hours. Never again....

Doesn't work well with credit cards.Major downside
Not so good. Great room but their basic business practices don't rate a 4 or 5 star hotel. I could not put our deposit and pay for tours or taxis booked at the hotel via credit card. The insisted on cash in advance. Not what you would expect from a quality hotel. Max withdraws from ATMs were about $100 so I had to visit a variety of local ATMs 9 times in our 2 day family stay.

this is a big, and very busy hotel.
We checked in after 2 pm, but the hotel was still very busy with check-outs. The staff seemed overwhelmed, so the check-in was a bit chaotic. I ended up talking to 3 different people during check-in, and they were constantly distracted by phone calls, and other guests.

High quality hotel but food doesnt match.
We stayed here for 1 night vefore heading to a junk boat on Hai Long Bay. The Hotel itself was brilliant as it really felt luxurious, clean and inviting. Staff were very pleasent although their English was far from the best. One lady spoke good English who we could understand well. The room itself was excellent. The food was not so excellent as the meat was tough and fatty and my wifes food also was of a poor quality with gritty sand like substance in her seafood. The view was great as we were on the 10th floor although a lot of building work taking place outside with a new development going up. Having said all this I would stay here again as overall it was a lovely hotel.

A nice stay for those who likes the quiet
It was a good stay, though it was not the most memorable stay since there was not much to do on site. Maybe we went during an off season so it was quiet, a bit too quiet. Guess this would be good if you're one who likes complete silence. I find that the staff friendliness is a bit random, some will help you with a smile while other will give you the annoyance face as they are assisting you. If you like to be left alone, this is the place for you!

家族で宿泊しました。豪華でゆったりとした部屋、見晴らしも素晴らしかったです。 日本語がわかるスタッフがいて助かりました。 1点謎なのは、17:30頃に清掃スタッフが来た事です。フロントに確認すると日本人は厳しいから2回清掃が入るとの説明でしたが、そこまで必要ないと感じました。 あわてて貴重品を持って出ました。 全体的には家族からとても好評でした。

Toppen Hotel
Hade en toppen vistelse på detta hotellet. Bra rum och jätte trevlig personal. Personalen var väldigt hjälpsamma. Poolen är kyld så det är skönt och uppfriskande när det är varmt. God frukost med stort utbud. Ligger mycket bra. Kan verkligen rekommendera detta hotell baserat på vår upplevelse.

위치는 정말 좋은데...객실이랑 복도에 카펫이 깔려있는데요~고급스러우라고 깔아놓은건가? 거기서 냄새가 나는건지 좋은냄새는 안났어요~ 조식도 숙박첫날에만 먹고 안먹었어요..먹을만한것이 없었네요. 호텔직원들은 웃으면서 친철하진 않았고 그냥..업무가 많아보였어요

Great hotel with a fantastic view
We had an overall very pleasant stay. The pool wasnt the very best but it worked. Staff was very helpful and made us feel very welcome

역시 므엉타잉 호텔
역시 므엉타잉 호텔임 프렌차이즈 호텔 답게 어디에서나 같은 서비스를 제공 므엉타잉호텔로 예약하면 기본이상을 기대 가족끼리 보다는 출장갈때 더 나은거 같음

편안함과 멋진 풍광을 갖춘 호텔
객실이 깨끗하고 욕실 용품도 좋은 제품으로 종류별로 갖춰져 있었음. 바닷가 전망의 방을 이용했는데 최고의 풍광을 감상할 수 있었으며 바로 앞이 하롱파크라서 케이블카 이용도 매우 편리했음. 아침식사도 골고루 풍족하게 준비되었고, 다 먹은 식기도 바로 치워져도 좋았음
