Beach Resorts in Haad Son

"We really enjoyed our stay here. It was within walking distance to pretty much anything we needed. It was surrounded by the loud and busy nightlife but once you were back on the resort property the noise quickly faded away which was so nice. The beach was great, we found the snorkeling to be really good with plenty of fish to see. We were a family of 6 and everyone liked the breakfast. I felt like there were plenty of options and it was nice not to have to walk around and find somewhere to eat every morning. The rooms were modern and clean. The only downside was they occasionally smelled like rotten eggs or some type of sewer smell. Difficult to describe and we weren’t sure what was causing it but it was outside around the area as well. It didn’t bother us enough to do anything about it. Overall the resort was clean, staff was friendly and location was great. I would highly recommend. "

"Lovely place with excellent food, a beautiful pool and grounds and good service. Also good options to explore the island. The white sand beach is gorgeous - the morning tide is low so swimming then is challenging in the sea but the pool is an excellent alternative. The signature massage is amazing. "

"Excellent family friendly resort, clean pristine beach shallow for first 20 metres so perfect for children. Staff were attentive and would serve you by the pool or on the beach. Lots of sunbeds, varied breakfast "

"Breakfast is exquisit! Very many options from home made jam to sweet treats, hot food items, canapés, healthy shakes to wrap options. Food and drinks in the restaurants however are overpriced but there are dining options around that are absolutely worth a try. Rooms are spacious with a beautiful view of the pool and closeness to beach. Staff could be a little less on their phone and more knowledgeable about the hotel and its offerings/ happenings. First night we booked a table in the escape restaurant on the beach with fire show and nobody knew anything about it. They even told us that there was no fire show until we asked about the 3rd person! We also never received an email reply for airport transfer on the way here. We then just took a taxi from the airport (about 40min drive)! The hotel organized us a scooter - definitely recommendable. That way you can explore the island by yourself! The hotel itself could use some renovation especially maybe during off season. Sanding the front porches or repairing the wood on the sun beds/couches would be good. That looked a little worn out! Overall nice stay on a beautiful island :)"

"Staff were all lovely. Property was stunning. Couldn’t use the pool as it was out of action which was a shame as that was one of the reasons we booked, it’s a beautiful pool area. Would have liked to spend more time there. Very handy for airport and exploring the town. Would defo stay again."
