"Wonderful Makarora Lodge - how can it be called wonderful? Do not stay here! Arrived April 27, 2028 approx 5:30 pm for a one night stay. Staff gone, picked up the two folded papers w/keys from reception area showing # of two chalets. Nothing has been done to the inside of the chalets for many many years. Mold on wood in room as you open the door on the right bottom wall. Very dirty stained carpet inside entrance, Only 1/8 - 1/4 inch of the roll of toilet paper in bathroom. Soap dispenser in shower was empty. Bathroom sink did not have a stopper so difficult to wash face or hands; you either had to use cold water or hot water (which of course would burn you). Took ~12 photos of interior. Some windows were left a little open when I arrived to chalet.
