"We had a fantastic time! Orlando (the owner), his family, and all of the staff were so kind and welcoming! We really enjoyed the thermal longevity circuit, plus we went tubing down the river which was a blast too! On day 2 we did the cultural coffee, chocolate, tortilla demonstration and we also went on a short hike through the trail where Orlando helped us spot a sloth! "This is such an amazing resort. Beautiful property and friendly staff. I’ve stayed in both the bungalows and the villas and they are both very nice. The natural sauna and hot springs are delightful. We love sitting on the patio area of the restaurant with a beautiful view. The restaurant staff is always very nice and attentive and the kindness of Diego and Mariana to remember my friend’s birthday and set a special table for our dinner was exceptional. This resort has all the activities on site. We saw lots of wildlife and our horseback riding adventure was amazing. There is also a nice hiking trail along the river on the property. We will definitely be back for a third time and most likely make it an annual trip! We can’t get enough of the daily sauna, hot springs, and mud experience!!"

"There is a lot to do at this resort. Our room was clean, fine/basic, with no air conditioning. It included a good breakfast and hot springs. There were many restaurants on the property, but only two were open. Mirador, which had a beautiful view and plenty of seating. It had good food, but was expensive. The other restaurant was a $30 buffet. The resort is in a remote location, so there are no other dining options within an hour. There are many fun activities to do at a cost. It's cheaper to group your activities in one day and order online. We had a wonderful two-day stay, but it was expensive overall for the stay, dining, and activities. Definitely take advantage of the hot springs and free eco farm. Victor went out of his way during all of our dining experiences to make us feel special. He was the most friendly and helpful employee."

"We really enjoyed our stay! Jorge made sure we had a pleasant stay and the staff was really nice. The unit we had was basic but clean, of a good size and well equipped. The breakfast was excellent (you can choose from 3 options) and we also had dinner there twice (there is nothing around), which was also good and well priced. We enjoyed the walking trails. It was a very relaxing stay. Note that the road to get to the ranch is bad so you need a 4x4. Even though it was remote, it was a great base to visit Rincon de la Vieja. We are very happy with our stay overall."
