"We stayed at this property ahead of moving our son into his university dorm. It was a perfect location, easy to get everywhere and a grocery store only a 5 minute walk. There was plenty of room to store our things and we really appreciated the covered car port. The house was very clean and the owners responsive. We would not hesitate to stay here again. My only suggestion to future guests would be to bring some sugar packets if you like it in your coffee :)"

"I very much enjoyed staying here. The signage was great, staff was super helpful, and all basic amenities (towels, soap, shampoo, wifi) were provided. It's a dorm, so the bathroom is shared (co-ed), but the bathroom had small, locked rooms with a tub/shower and plenty of sinks and stalls. I saw a person or two in the bathroom, but the facilities weren't crowded. And there was a TV/sofa room on the floor. Highly recommended for budget travelers. About a 20 minute walk or 5 minute bus ride to the center of Halifax."

"We were a group of 10 ladies, so 5 rooms booked. The staff was very friendly, check in was a breeze, our cars were parked for us. The rooms were clean, beds comfortable and a nice option of wines to purchase if you left yours behind. We enjoyed the garden patio during happy hour, they even supplied blankets to those with a chill as the sun set. We had breakfast at the hotel, option of the buffet or order from the menu, the staff was lovely. Highly recommend this hotel."
