Very clean and a well maintained place, located in a great spot to reach all sites around within 5-15 min drive. It was a bit difficult to control the cold/warm water during the shower, which was the only thing to be improved. Otherwise, everything was okay.

Perfect location Spacious living areas with wide open views of beautiful surroundings. Some fittings need repair but minor distraction overall.

Comfortably furnished and spacious in a gorgeous location. One recommendation is to update the information provided about local activities. Our binder was broken and some information was a bit out of date. Otherwise it is a wonderful place.

Thank you for your review, I apologise that your folder was broken. We try to keep our folders updated but sometimes businesses don't tell us there have been changes. We are pleased you enjoyed your stay with us.
Jenny the owner/operator was very helpful from the get go. The cabin was very spacious and has great animal visitors (cockatoos, kangaroos, and emus) in the morning. The cabin AC couldn’t be set above 23 degrees, but they had two space heaters, and electric blankets that kept you warm. Highly recommended for families.

A luxurious way to break up our camping holiday. Plenty of beautiful hikes close by and a great way to relax in the evening with scenic mountain views and wildlife.

The accommodation was spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean with everything you could possibly need. We would highly recommend this if you are looking for a home away from home in a beautiful, peaceful place.

Cheers, Jenny
I stayed here for two nights recently (late September 2018) with my two children, aged 5 and 7. Our cabin was so lovely and clean and everything was immaculate. The cabin had all amenities which was great as we were able to cook meals when we wanted to. All beds were super comfortable, extra balnkets were available and heating was great. It would have been great to have had a second panel heater so there was one for each bedroom. The kids loved seeing the deer and kangaroo as we drove up the entrance each day/evening. They also loved the swings and volleyball net. Staff were super friendly and accommodating.

Disliked: Cleanliness
Needs some TLC
The place had everything we needed, however is wasn’t clean. The aircon/ heater made noise and by the looks of it hasn’t been cleaned ever. All it needs is a good service. A good clean and would be great.

Our lodges are cleaned and thoroughly checked. I think if you look at past reviews you will see that this is the case.
Hotel was very clean and setup was great. huge windows looking out to nature. Everything was fantastic. If I was to be critical the beds were not comfortable and internet was very bad

Hello, thank you for your review. Would you mind telling me which lodge you were staying in so I can check the bed, we usually get very good feedback about them. With the NBN some days the internet is out of our control, we apologise for that.
The lodge is really nice for families with young children as there are so many animals that come near to the cabin. We fed some parrots and we saw kangaroos, emus and even a family of deer. As for the cabin, the kitchen is well equipped if you want to cook. The heater is great for the cold weather.

I am pleased you and your family had a lovely time, thank you for taking the time to review us :)
Everything one could need - washer, clothes airer, kitchen facilities. Would stay there again. More space than we needed as a couple, though. Could easily travel with another couple or family, as there were two bedrooms and large living area.

After a day of climbing around the Grampians admiring the scenery, the spa is sheer heaven. The property next door has a restaurant where you can sit outside and watch the birds as they settle down for the evening.

We had a wonderful 2 days at Halls Gap Valley Lodges. The staff was friendly, the lodge was clean and very spacious, and we loved seeing kangaroos, emus and cockatoos on the lawn each morning and night. I'd recommend this lodge to anyone.

Thank you for recommending us, we are pleased you enjoyed the wildlife :)
Very spacious accommodation and well equipped (even had a toastie maker). Ceiling fan in the main bedroom was much appreciated as it was super hot when we were there.Very friendly welcoming hosts. Lots of wildlife around, especially wallabies and cockatoos. Great base for exploring the Grampians and nice to be just out of Halls Gap central. Comfy beds, huge lounge. Insect screens on the windows were great, although a few holes in some of them. The only downside was the internet reception which was very patchy and also only allows a set limit before you have to wait 10 minutes or so before you can log back in. Seemed to work better if you used it outside the cabin.Very weak reception in the cabin, could possibly be improved with a stronger router.

Lovely place to stay
The lodges are in a beautiful setting and have all of the essentials that you need. The beds were really comfortable and the interior of the lodge was really spacious. Our young children were very excited to see kangaroos right on the lawn outside our doorstep in the morning. The owners were lovely; very accommodating and understanding in relation to a booking misunderstanding on our end. Would be happy to stay there again.
Our family loved staying in this accommodation. The room even had a spa! Great after all the walking and climbing we did! The wildlife outside the door each morning and night was spectacular!
Will definitey stay here again!
It was a very decent wooden cabin with nicely made beds and pretty scenery outside the window, sometimes there would be wild animals jumping around. The location of the hotel is outstanding with tourist attractions all around it. With all that said I would highly recommend staying there.
Halls Gap Valley Lodges was an excellent choice for a relaxing few days spent in the area. The lodge was well appointed with everything needed and extremely clean. Though Wifi was unusable.
Views were picture perfect and loved the peace and quite. Will definitely return.
We had an overnight stay while driving from Melbourne to Adelaide but we'll be returning for a longer stay in the future. The accommodation was spacious and comfortable and the views were stunning. The kids loved the wildlife, especially the friendly cockatoos.
The Vlley Lodges are set on the most idealic location you could ever imagine amongst the Grampians themselves. The views are spectacular! The native Australian animals that live on the property are also a real treat for the youngsters. We love this place.
