"Th staff was very welcoming , friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a spacious room that was clean, comfortable and relaxing with access to a balcony. We enjoyed the excellent location as it was close to the downtown shops as well as the gondola lift. Highly recommend this to other travellers! "

"This is a huge complex resort, beautiful ground, first floor apartment (studio type with kitchen) has backyard table sets, feel very relaxing! Super close to the ferry to Hallstatt like 5 minutes walk! Staff are nice, breakfast good. We ate in the on site restaurant, delicious food! it’s about 15 minutes drive to Hallstatt, make it a great choice for short visit to the area! Room itself is pretty simple, very small bathroom but serve the purpose! No any extra amenities like tissue, only necessities!"
"We had a wonderful time in Obertraun at Hotel Haus am See. We will definitely try to stay here again in the future. For prospective guests: staying here is worth it—read the check in details that are sent, ask questions through the message portal on Expedia, and use google translate if you’re struggling. "The receptionists were very helpful and friendly. My stay included breakfast, which was available between 7am - 10am. It meant that I didn't have to get up too early for it.
The spa and pool were great, very clean and also had amenities such as snacks, water and hot drinks. They were both open for very long hours so i was able to use them after I returned to the hotel after my day outs.
I would definitely recommend this hotel as it's in middle of Bad Aussee, just the spa and pool is worth going to!"
