Good base for exploring Hamburg. Not too far from the central station, and most central areas walkable. Area round the station has a lot of rough sleepers.

Great, if you arrive by bus or train.

Next to bus terminal, line 2 in 10 mins to Speicherstadt and main station, this hotel has perfect location if you come without car. Spacious, clean, well maintained, but not brand new room, quite silent to the court side. Tasty continental breakfast buffet and friendly staff. Good for short stay to visit Hamburg's attractions.

The location was great as it's near the central train station.Lots of dining options and places to go to in the area. Very hustle and bustle area on the streets nearby with lots of people around. The lift has no key card and i worry about security as it's so central and in the city and anybody could just come up to the floors.

Leon who checked me in was very friendly and good at his job. Other reception staff could learn from Leon and improve their performance. My room although basic was clean and comfortable. It also had a fridge and a safe which is great. The buffet breakfast was simple but adequate. Wi-Fi wasn't great. I didn't appreciate my room being entered on the morning of departure at 10.15, they are supposed to know what rooms are checkouts and don't require service.

Please avoid this hotel, if you can.

Booked and paid for 4 night stays. Upon arrival, the receptionist staff said they do not have available room. I said I had booked it for more than 6 months ago. But the staff said even I had booked it for 10 years in advance, if they do not available room, you can stay. They sent me to another hotel to avoid disappointment.

The thing this hotel has going for it is the proximity to the central railway station. The bicycle storage was in an open air carpark behind the hotel and in secure. Reception seemed surprised at my arrival at 10pm. There was no key for my room. In the morning my sightseeing plans were tharted by the unavailability of luggage storage on that day. Why hadn't the hotel foreseen this and made a provision e.g. setting aside a bedroom. The receptionist was unimaginative and inflxible. I have travelled around the world with my bicycle and this was the worst hotel experience.

Das Hotel war weitgehend in Ordnung; das Zimmer war ok, die Fenster haben den Straßen- und Baulärm sehr gut gedämmt; die Gastfreundlichkeit ließ jedoch etwas zu wünschen übrig; die Lage ist eigentlich SUPER, aber die Gegend ist etwas unbehaglich; Frühstück könnte ein 'bissl' abwechslungsreicher sein, war aber in Ordnung. Wir würden wieder buchen! Danke

Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich. Frühstück war ausreichend, der Service war nett und freundlich und es wurde immer wieder frisch aufgefüllt. Hotel liegt günstig am Hauptbahnhof und den wichtigsten Bushaltestellen.
