The room #302 was lovely and i was happy to have th4 luggage stand and a desk to work from. However the wifi didnt reach the desk so i couldnt work. I booked with your hotel for the included wifi so that i could work from my room. The lovely lady at the reception offered for me to work in the breakfast room until 9pm, but that defeats the purpose of having a desk in my room. Please purchase wifi aignal boosters to help your future guests.

Final stop, next to the airport
Really convenient for the airport, and within 10mins walking of the U-bahn to get into the city centre. Downside was that it was quite noisy with the planes, but to be expected. The room was small, but adequate, although we found the beds too soft (two single beds instead of a double though this has been a common experience throughout our trip). The wifi was patchy at best and some of the bathroom fittings and room lights were not working or in need of repair. Checking in and out was super easy and there was ample parking too.

Exactly what we needed
We had a short family trip. Our appartment was exactly what we needed: 2 separate beds not to close, spacious room, kitchen with electric plate and fridge. Very nice bathroom. Great hospitality. Good breakfast for 10E per person. Great Value for money. 10 minutes walk to airport or 2 minutes by car. Options for improvement: Our flight was very delayed and we were lucky to find the receptionist after 11pm- better to charge first night and send code ahead of arrival. No written instructions how to use the electric plate and how to use the fridge.

This hotel is a short walk from the U1. My room was cheerful and comfortable, and very clean. The price was more than reasonable. Breakfast is good and the staff is friendly. This is a sweet place - I would most definitely stay again.

For the price & proximity to the airport it is a great choice if you have 1 night layover. One thing to be aware of thought is that the hotel is in the landing flight pattern, literally at the beginning of the runway (at least the landing flight pattern in use the night we stayed there). This is noisy!!! The good news is that the airport seems to be closed between 11pm & 6 am. The breakfast is varying quality (fantastic for 10 euro in early May when we also stayed for 1 night, so and so in late may - no drip coffee etc).

The lady was very professional. The location is horrible because of the sound of flights and cars at road . No AC it was so hot , very tide bathroom, No Iron , no extra sheets , kitchen was good , stair no elevator I had to carry 3 big bags The property has a sign night rate is 53€ and Expedia charged me $122 , why ????? Not happy at all

Dear guest, thank you for your criticism, we would like to go into it. We advertise a direct location at the Hamburg airport. It is self-explanatory that there is also aircraft noise here. Nevertheless, our windows are soundproofed so that you can sleep peacefully at night with the windows closed. Of course we also have a lift. Why you didn't use it is a mystery to us. If you need an iron or extra bed linen, please contact our reception next time. Getting this is not a problem. The overnight price for your single room is EUR 53.00 per night. You stayed at our hotel for 2 nights and booked breakfast. 2x overnight stay at 53,00 euro = 106,00 euro 2x breakfast at 8,00 euro = 16.00 euros Total: 122,00 euro Of course, this is also declared on your invoice. Reasonable stay for the price paid
A basic but clean hotel. Reception closes at 20:30 making late check in difficult. Comfort rating low due to poor quality linen and bed not being comfortable. However, for the price my stay was reasonable. Free parking a bonus!

Well, the hotel is not that bad, but it is placed right next to the airport so you can literally do a high-five with any plane taking off or landing at the Hamburg airport. Just put your hand out of the window.

Unfortunately the hotel is in need of an upgrade. The breakfast was expensive given there was no hot food, & the noise from landing planes passing overhead was very disturbing until it ended around 23:00.

Disappointing
The Mein Hotel is very convenient for Hamburg airport. It's a plain serviceable hotel without frills which is fair enough. I was disappointed because I booked a single occupancy room with what was described as having twin single beds. Apparently, this actually means one single bed though the lady on reception couldn't explain why. Not that she wasn't as helpful as she could be, she did call the manager to check this discrepancy who explained that in this case twin means one?! The room was small and the bathroom tiny. My biggest problem was that the wifi didn't work and after trying for ages, I had to go to reception to report it and ask what could be done. Sadly, once again, the lady on the reception was as helpful as she could be but couldn't actually help me to get wifi. All in all, my stay was disappointing and I won't be staying there again.

La cama era muy incómoda, el espacio de la habitación demasiado pequeño. El baño tenía manchas en los azulejo del lavabo, que no limpiaron ni Antes ni durante la estancia. Solo hay un bote de jabón de manos, no hay gel ni champú ni acondicionador. 101€/ noche de media es demasiado para lo que ofrece.

Fint hotel til prisen. Meget hostel/motel agtig stemning dog. Hverken over eller under forventningerne i forhold til, at det er en særdeles billig overnatning. Vi savnede lidt en minibar eller et lille køleskab, samt elkedel til at kunne lave lidt varmt at drikke. Super kundeservice! Vi ankom meget sent, og nøglen blev lagt i nøgleboks. Hjælpsomt og imødekommende personale. Morgenmaden er ikke noget at skrive hjem om, men den var der - dejligt, når man skal rejse videre 😊
