Staff and breakfast great. Sex shop on ground floor and rough neighbourhood made the stay uncomfortable. Mold/mildew in bathroom. Cheap and convenient for our purposes but will stay elsewhere next time.

The staff, room and breakfast buffet were all great 5 stars. The problem is this is in a mostly migrant area. If your room is in front yes you get a nice balcony. The problem is noise. The street is loud 24/7 never quite. Africans and Arabs all night and day out talking, yelling and playing music.

No BS, just a bed and a decent breakfast

No nonsense, low price hotel with a central location. Nothing to write home about, yet nothing to complain about either. Breakfast was fine and comparable to what you will get in a slightly more expensive (mid class) hotel. Extra bonus for the luggage room letting us explore Hamburg without our backpacks on check out day.

A good hotel for a short stay

Hamburg is a good hotel for a short stay, in a very good location. It is only 3 minutes walk from train and bus central stations and 10 minutes walk from shopping area. The room and all the areas of the hotel were clean and the staff friendly. The breakfast was very good. .

Small ,comfortable hotel with few big minus points

Hotel is clean ,and breakfest was good. Room and bed was comfortable. In other hand location of the hotel is restless.It is located in the street part where many drugusers and smokers spend time through the day and night. Even as window closed the noises of fights,arriving ambulances and yelling of people on the street can be heard without willing. Not the safest entrance from the street in to hotel. Staff at cleaning and breakfest room was pleasent and friendly. Staff at reception was harder to reach and talk to and less welcoming.

I would use this convenient hotel again

Good, clean, quiet hotel, ideal for the central station. The breakfast was very good for the price. The carpets in the hotel are old, but the hotel was otherwise fine. It is in a very rough area with all kinds of less-than-legal activity going on in the streets surrounding it. Heads up if you are travelling alone.

Near the central station

6mins work to central station’s .on a very busy street.supermarket across the street.the breakfast is simple and delicious.change a room to private bathroom.it is great! The four floor and five floor do not have elevator.but it is easy to walk by stairs

Decent hotell in a seedy neighborhood

The hotell is situated on a pretty rough street. Drugs and porn are not hard to spot. It is however a very busy and unfrightening place. Just seedy. As far as the hotell itself is concerned, the rugs are bad and the ceilings are stained but the beds are new, clean and comfy. The breakfast was good and the staff happy to help.

It was fine

The hotel is fine. The street outside is terrible and I would say not suitable for women traveling alone or with kids. The service was very nice , breakfast was fine too. The room was ok but nothing modern to it. I was not expecting something wow when i booked it but when we arrived i was shocked and immediately felt unsafe.The good thing is that once you are in the hotel that feeling goes away.

The hotel was lovely and clean,staff were very welcoming.Rooms are basic but clean.Noise from outside,we had to open windows as it was hot.Breakfast was very nice, continental, fresh bread,meat, cheese, eggs,fruit, yoghurt, cereals,coffee and tea. The only thing I would say negative was outside the hotel.The noise,homeless people,drug addicts,ladies of the night.It was a very busy area day and night. 10min walk up the road it was totally different.Dont let it put you off.Hotel was brilliant could do with a bigger lift ha ha

Good hotel while the circumstance is not good

It is true that the circumstance around this hotel is not good as many users commented. But as I lived in Hamburg before, I fully know the circumstance and am never concerned with this. I think this hotel is good because of free breakfast and no cancelling fee. But the breakfast is not bad but not good. I got tired of it at the third morning. And it was very hot in the room in July because of no air conditioner.

Location of property is by Central Station, so it's close to train station. However, probably doesn't seem "safe" because there are a lot of people just lingering outside late into the night. Police is around so it's safe enough. The facility is clean enough. The bed is comfortable. The biggest downside for me is, the picture had me believe this place was like any other hotel, but instead, you do not have your own bathroom. Toilet and shower is communal; you have to share with the whole floor. Also had a cricket on my towel. Morning staff is nice.

Hotel is basic but clean and staff are friendly and helpful.Breakfast was good the small restaurant does get busy and is only open for breakfast. Nothing to do with the hotel at all but the area around the accommodation is rough. Lots of prosititutes and beggars which was not a major concern but the open drug users and number of alcoholics is unbelievable. It is not somewhere i would take children, there were things going on that as an adult i should not have been privvy too. 300m down the road in any direction and the culture changes for the better. Being honest i would not stay here again purely based on the area and activities outside the hotel, which is a shame because i have no faults with the hotel itself.
