The floor really needed a good mopping my daughter and I walked bare foot and our feet were so dirty we had to wear our crocks to walk to the bathroom

Janmere motel
Moldy air conditioner is a major concern. Failure to fulfill special request (xtra pillows). The room was musty. I also secured a particular room with the staff at the hotel which they said was all set. When I arrived it wasn’t. It was off peak and was basically ghost town so there is no excuse.

The hotel is outdated and there was no cold water as the pipe was broken. We were unable to shower and had to wait until 11:00am to be transferred to another room.

Carpet should not be used in room anymore. Otherwise all was ok. On Labor weekend day, price was too high for this kind of room, but it was a holiday...

I stayed with family in one of the older rooms that has yet to be remodeled. This is clearly an older motel but I was not bothered at all because the level of cleanliness was outstanding. The yellow shower with seashell shelving was clearly a relic from the 70's but was just as pristine as if it had been installed the week prior. I have stayed at big name fancy hotels that weren't as well kept and clean. My one complaint was that they cleaned the bathroom floor SO well, that it was super shiny and slippery in socks so I almost fell. The bed was comfortable, the staff was very friendly and the hotel provided a great listing of local places to eat at/visit which was very helpful. The office is open 24/7 with access to ice, coffee and brochures to local attractions. I would definitely stay again.

Perfect spot for visiting beach, the ballroom for a show, and dining, everything needed is minutes away. Clean and spacious and great customer service. Let us park after checkout so we could go get breakfast nearby.

What do I like about Jan mere? We stayed in room 38. The room was clean. Interior decor was fantastic. Loved the curtains which was tastefully coordinated. The parking lot in front of our room was sooo convenient. The staff were courteous and friendly. Highly recommended!!!!

Should be half the price.
It was ok. Would have made more sense if it was half the price. No daily service, had to go to a small office space outside of the room for a microwave, terrible lighting, and a very large TV which was good but looked like it was getting a signal with rabbit ears. No assigned parking so just a fight for a space, and it seemed very overcrowded in space in general. Won’t go back. For what they charged (over $300/night on a weekend) I expected more and I’ve stayed at the beach many times.

It was exactly what I expected from a beach room. Small, quaint and pretty quiet- even with the Seafood Fest going the weekend we stayed. No frills- no ice machine but did have an ice tray, no in room coffee but did have coffee at the front desk no hairdryer but you’re at the beach! No need! Lol. Great time!!

Above average, compared to others in the area.it seems that they take pride in their establishment and in keeping it's appearance up, clean and welcoming. Had a pleasant stay.would recommend it to others.
